Really cool puzzle game!! It feels very well paced, with new mechanics introduced at just the right times to keep me engaged. The little dancing purple creatures are so funny to me, and I love them, so I was sad that I had to kill them, but oh well. There were some really creative puzzles, and clever solutions. The theme implementation is quite cool, giving this type of puzzle game a new feel while still honoring the genres core features.

My one critique would be the pushable boxes not showing up until the 3rd floor of the level, so I had to just kind of assume what they did, and hope that when I got to it, my work would not be wasted. I think an introduction of pushable boxes that was similar to the stabby boxes (1st floor, low commitment) would've been nice. This didn't reduce my enjoyment at all, just something to note I guess.

Music is nice, visuals are stylish, being simple but clear, and all around the game is just a fun time. Well done!!

Thank you for your feedback! I'm completely onboard with the pushable box tbh. It was poorly implemented and I was very stubborn to just throw it out.

As for the dancing purple boi, please do not worry, they just get poke a bit and cry. Still hurts, but they should be fine ^^

Have a good day dude. Appreciate your review a lot :)

that’s good, I’m glad that they are just sad and not dead :D

Very clever puzzle game! Very impressed with it.

Developer

Ey ty for playing! I've been just messing around on the discord lol

Very fun game! The puzzle is incredibly creative the way you did the programming concept into a way that requires a lot of extra thinking I wouldnt have thought of and could be expanded later after the jam with some quality of life like being able to add commands in the middle of the stack and being able to speed up the loop like 2x speed! Super fun game!

Developer

Thank you <3

I love the gameplay puzzly aspect of this game. Feels like something that could be developed into something cooler. Great job!

I wish there was a way to insert commands in the stack rather than deleting the whole thing up until that point and maybe some way to go through the stack in fast mode.

Developer

Yea, I was thinking of that too, but implementing it is too challenging for me so I opted for a rough fix :)

This was very good - a nice memory game, I enjoyed it a lot. I think you can do a lot more with the concept though, it feels very concepty at the moment.

Developer

Wah thank you :D

Great game. Could be improved still

Good game, but either i'm stupid or the rotate does nothing? idk maybe i'm just confused.

Developer(+1)

Oh, rotate change your attack direction, that's all. Probably should have introduced it alongside attack instead... Glad that you can look past the mistake in my game (I forgot to turn on screen transition and background tiles ;-;

super creative

Developer (1 edit)

Wah thank you mr Youtuber man! I'm gonna remember this :D

The fact that you have to use the same set of commands for all the levels feels unnecessary and just makes clearing the level feel a bit tedious since you start back at the first level

Developer

That's understandable, I kept the scope very small this year. Hope you still had fun though :)

wow!! cool game i like the assets and the sounds and where did u get the fonts?  very interesting concept i wouldn't have thought of that

Developer (1 edit)

The font is pretty standard I think, I got it on google font but it has number and "_" in its name so idk what it's called exactly... As for sounds and music, it's made by ItsPoofy: https://itspoofy.carrd.co/

cool game, ill play it again once you get to release the non buggy version

Really cool game, while I've seen games like these in the past this is by far the best as you have to account for one pattern fitting many levels, of course the best strategy is to look at the last room of the level and do the setup for that as chances are it'll work for the previous level sections as well but that wasn't always the case and it was cleverly put together, fun music too! Lots of playtime as well for a  jam game which is impressive! Great work!

Developer(+1)

Tysm for your word! ItsPoofy is the one who made the music, you can see his work here: https://itspoofy.carrd.co/

This game is so fun and thought-provoking!  My brain hurts in the best way. absolutely loved it!  I kinda wish there were even more loop elements… so it could hurt my brain even more.

Really cool feels really good to play! i dont know if im just dumb but it would be cool if the reset level reset the loop commands

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback! I was thinking of that too but I chose not to since mouse slip and losing progress happen a lot during my play test.

Really fun and creative game! Loved the core mechanic and how polished it feels. Some levels really bent my brain 😄

Only suggestion: maybe add a quick retry for later levels. Great job overall! 🙌

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I used Ctrl+R for reset instead of R, pretty stupid on my part lol

Submitted(+1)

Really fun game, bent my mind at certain points.
One suggestion is, unless i missed it, is adding a way to speed up levels as it kind of got tiring watching the same first 2 levels every time i failed third, and so on, outside of that very solid

Developer

Thank you for the suggestion, I was afraid the concept is hard to get use to, but the players adjusted to it very quickly. Have a good day! (Your game is really nice, I liked it :)

THIS IS MY FAVORITE GAME I PLAYED SOO FAR!(in the jam)

Superb and solid game! Interesting, somewhere intensive to make a proper sequence. I like it.

A couple of thoughts on the design:

- I do want to add command on-the-go. It will make the process much smoother.

- Probably I missed it. But I'd like to have restart on a hotkey (R maybe). Very often I see that the route gets broken and be able to quickly restart without using mouse will be cool.

And one more: please include the game title into the zip file name. It will make it easier for everyone :).

Developer (1 edit)

Oh yeah, I added Ctrl+R for reset since I often fat-finger stuff when typing. I'm gonna make changes according to your feedback. Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you and have a good day :D
