This is so fun and interactive!! The tables are great, and the writing is really delightful.
These magic users would fit in really well with Jack Vance's wacky wizards. Top marks on theme and writing.
The art-ful version is quite hard to read, and I don't think the design supports the writing much. But you thoughtfully included a printer friendly version--I will indeed be printing this one out to keep/hopefully play!
Thanks! I like the version with the background less as time goes on and I think the simpler design of the printer friendly version is better too.
I actually think it looks super cool. A bit hard to read and not necessarily on theme--but still very evocative!
Love the lil love triangle deathmatch going on here, with the added bonus of let’s kill and/or rob our teacher lol
There’s a lot of opportunities here for loading your pockets with fun, strange treasure, assuming you can avoid the Beauty & the Beast meets Fantasia war going on. Would definitely have a blast running this!
I love this format, and the adventure looks fun to play. It's something you can print out, slip into your handbook, and run at any time. I love it.
Definitely some promising stuff here. A war between houdrhold items is fun. The Spice Elemental makes me think, what other kinds are there? A Sugar Elemental? An Everything Nice Elemental?
I'd prefer a more readable left-to-right layout, though.
In my game, there will be a multitude of mops with buckets of water up and down from the kitchens to the bedrooms. Preferable with a wizard sized mouse doing its nut!
I wonder how long it would take to find the smutty book and how much the PCs could sell it for?
Lots to find, although I think that I'd quote Goblin Punch's advice here "have things to experiment with*". I think you could have got away with more to mess about with outside the workshop and potion room.
*I always remember that after the event,"Shiny stuff to steal" is the easy one!
Maybe some of those other adventurers that tried to rob the place are still there...
It’s definitely something I need to keep in mind more. Cool stuff to grab is easier to toss in anywhere, but actual interactive bits tied to one or more locations takes more coherent thought but has a good payoff when players figure it out
