Game Description
A lil silly mouse tasked with finishing cardboard obstacle courses really really fast
How does your game tie into the theme?
The main character is a mouse. It wants a cheese. The mouse can die from mouse traps. Silly mouse go goofy ahh.

A little rough around the edges, but an interesting gameplay that enjoyed quite a bit.
Pretty impressive for a 1st submission
Holy shit the SHMOVEMENT! I loved the music and the character controller, it felt very smooth and building speed was really fun! I think the level design is proabably where the most improvement could be made. In my opinion, the levels were a little too long and not conducive a momentum-building playstyle. I think if you spaced out the obstacles a bit more, and left much more air and free space in between, as well as considering the left/right flow the player is forced to navigate as they slide/ jump over things, navigating through the levels could be a lot smoother. That being said, I'm only making these critiques as I think this game is really good and I had a lot of fun playing it anyway! Very good entry!
Very nicely done. Lots of fun with this game. Congrats!
Incredible. Love the stone sound haha!
Really liked the presentation, it was fun. Using CTRL+W was not a great choice for browsers though, it caught me at first.
My friends and I had some really good laugh with this. Nicely done
Well done mate! The music made the experience way better, and the dashing around using ctrl was very fun. I kept spamming it coz it made me feel good (idk why) and it made me fast
Pretty fun! I thought i was doing terrible but turned out to get A/S on the levels i completed! Alas, Got snapped in a trap on 3, Dark souls reference made me chuckle.
Nice, pretty fun fast little game. Would like to see more types of obstacles and (maybe) shorter but more levels.
Edit: Also, i don't know what that SFX is actually supposed to be on CTRL? Some sort of grinding brick sound? Whatever it was, it weirdly scratched my brain in a good way.
Interesting combination of real graphics and stylistic art for the models. Along with the jazzy theme music and unconventional aspect ratio, makes the presentation quite unique.
First attempt: I immediately got caught in the collision shape and ejected from the tutorial level, falling into an endless pit. Had to refresh my page to get a new game going. Though did notice you'd noted that as a likely scenario in the tutorial, thus it may have been a good idea to throw in a restart function somewhere (or have plane colliders above and below the level that automatically restart the level if hit).
Second attempt: Game crashed and closed the Brave browser tab (first time that's ever happened) when I used Ctrl to slide in the tutorial level.
Third attempt: Tried on Opera, but it inadvertently closed the tab again. This prompted me to check the comments, and I saw shp's and JMC's explanations that Ctrl+W is what's closing the tabs. So looked for a download, but unfortunately there wasn't one.
Sympathetic to unforeseeable bugs, since in the midst of development, it's not even on the radar to know that basic input keys are going to conflict with a browser's shortcut keys.
The fix for this for future players: always be holding the W key. Letting go of it, and pressing Ctrl first, will trigger the browser's shortcut input.
Fourth attempt: When I got the game going, the level was fast-paced and very action-y! The speed jump of the crouch encourages a player to spam it, but the boost is what makes it so fun. Given that you've incredibly done this in 3D, I'd love a future level with twists and turns on the other axis. Perhaps even something that launches you in the air. The potential for what this could morph into is exciting.
Well thats why fullscreen was invented lol) But thanks for playing!
Nice little rat. I had fun playing until I thought it crashed, but it wasn't actually a crash, I was using ctrl to slide and w to go forward, triggering my favorite browser hotkey ctrl-w to close the tab. Great entry!
Of course, I hadn’t read the description...👀
and it was really cool for me to discover on my own that sliding makes you faster, and that a slide jump makes you so much faster.
…until I ran into a mousetrap and had to start everything all over again😐
But overall, I had a lot of fun with it :D
Thanks for playing!
Another fellow person who submitted a rat game (:
It's satisfying to control and the music is nice, overall good submission.
Camera could be better. Also, sliding then hitting W closes the tab when not in fullscreen ):
The physics on this are really polished and satisfying. The levels start to drag on in the later ones but there's a lot more that could be done with level design to keep interest if you were to expand on this.
Damn guys ive just noticed that the style meter was cut off. Thats the red text in the corner
I could see myself purchasing a fully fleshed out version of this!
Damn, thanks! Im really happy you liked it!
I think - brick sound for rat sliding is so funny XD
Cute stuff, I enjoyed playing this. Really liked that we are running in a box.
I think it would be nice to make obstacles a bit different. (like verious shapes where you need to jump in. ) And maybe sliding having limits, as I was using it most of a time.
I wasn't expecting that you restart whole game if you died 0.0
I was just "What's gonna happen if I run into mouse trap?" - "You died, start again"
But anyway - good stuff!
Thanks for the review! I thought that it would prolongue the experience if you were sent back to the beginning! If i had maybe like 15 levels maybe I wouldve made a live system or what not. But im happy you liked it!
I had so much fun sliding around everywhere xD The jump and slide reminded me so much of the bullet jumping in Warframe that muscle memory just took over.
I really liked the levels, and the music was very energizing.
I think there was a HUD element up in the left corner as I sometimes saw something red or yellow, but not sure what it was. I would have loved to see the timer somewhere during the level to gauge better how well I was doing.
Fantastic job! I’d definitely play more of this!
Damn ive just noticed that the style meter was cut off. Thats the red text in the corner. It was a thing to show how fast you are going, srry about that. But thanks for the review!
Pretty cool game, got a face full of rat tail as soon as I started. Only problem was the camera clipping into the rat sometimes, but still a pretty fun game. Good work!
Thanks for your feedback! I forgot to fix the thing with camera :3 sry
So fun to play! I was tryharding so hard that when I died to the mousetrap I thought I’d be salty, but instead I cracked up when the Dark Souls 'YOU DIED' screen showed up.
Thanks for your feedback! Thanks for playing! Glad that YOU DIED acomplished its mission succesfully)
This game is hilarious and i LOVE the sliding tech. Genuinely has so much potential for new ideas, please keep working on it!
Thanks for playing! IF you have any cool ideas you want to implement, write them down in here!
