Very fun game, and the limitation is executed flawlessly. The one thing I kind of wished was there was a way to slow descent a little bit, but I figure that probably goes against the core design philosophy anyway. Very well done!

My brother (yes, he wants to be credited as "my brother") did the music, I did everything else.
Software used
Godot, Blender, Gimp, Krita, Fl Studio
Use of the limitation
Since the limitation is "Constant Descent", I made a 3d platformer where you never go up, you only glide down from platform to platform

Surprisingly, only one. It was a very good one, though

thank you so much! No, I actually think you got a point with the slower descent thing, because I'm honestly not too sold on how the air controls work right now. They are literally just the exact same as the ground controls, just with slower acceleration. If I had unlimited time and had to make a full version of this game, I'm not sure if I'd make them more nuanced or keep them like this for simplicity sake
Short and fun gameplay. Maybe add mandatory checkpoints to pass through and some danger zones to avoid, so the player doesn't make a beeline for the target point. It'll give you the chance to manipulate the difficulty too.
It's a nice game. Good job!
Yep, I agree with you on that. I wasn't too worried about the player making a beeline to the target point since in its conception it was only a way for them to finish a run, and in the final score what really mattered was how many targets they broke. After making it so that the player gets scored on the landing aswell, I can see how that became a problem, since they can go straight to the end and get a 10 on both the landing and the time. Rather than adding checkpoints or danger zones, I probably prefer to change the scoring system and make it so that the targets they break matter more, in a way that you can't possibly get 2/3rds of a perfect score if you ignore them
Thank you so much! I also had a felling it was a bit empty, to be honest. I'm not sure if I'd add enemies per se, but I'd absolutely add more varied obstacles and mechanics. I think that the way the game is built asks for more levels that are shorter with more variety, rather than what I did which is just one big map.
Sad my prehistoric pc can't run it that well, but what I could see is that the paragliding mechanics seemed fun, and the art was pretty nice as well! The game was clearly polished and well made - great submission!
I will say, the web version doesn't run very well for me either. I'm not sure what I'm missing, but I might have to investigate the problem at some point. If you haven't tried it and if you feel like it, I do recommend downloading the windows version (it's fine if you don't, I also barely ever download the games when I'm rating game jams)
Really fun concept, I could easily see this being a full release at some point. Also I have to know, is it even possible to get every coin, I could never get from the tower to the top of the hill, I always fell a bit short.
Loved the vibes, overall neat experience. It does feel like more aerial targets would be fun, but overall I really enjoyed it!
Really, really smooth controls!
it reminds me of games from N64 era!
Love the style!
Have no idea how you can get all these coins at once. Still nice physics and chill music 🎶
