Considering you won second place, you don't need me to tell you how amazing your game is!

Adding force to the stars near your light makes it feel like you're launching little light gravity planets, and that feels amazing.

Making the descent for the stars be towards the player controlled object really gives your game a nice poetic quality. Something made by conscious designer choice, and that's really awesome.

Very fun physics game. I only ever got up to 17, but I had a blast!

I liked that you found some interesting take on the theme and limitations. Would be cool that stars will leave trails like in the night sky.

Overall good implementation!

This is a fantastic entry! Simple, yet atmospheric. It has a lot of depth, too, thanks to the fact that you can shoot at your own projectiles to change their course. The tutorial is also really well implemented. Congrats!!!

Great game! Super polished. You’re right, our themes are pretty similar! I really liked seeing your spin on the constellation idea :)

I really like this unique idea! Music makes it so relaxing to play. Good job!!!

Interesting concept and mechanics. Took a while to figure out click and drag part but once I did the gameplay was fun and exciting.
I just wish there were a bit more easier levels in the beginning to understand how the stars move after getting hit so player doesn't get confused where to hit in the later levels.

Overall, amazing game. Enjoyed playing it and would love to play more. Nice job!

Thanks for the feedback! When the voting is over, I will update the tutorial so that you need to send a lightshot with click+drag, before being able to move on. I will also change the text to reflect this more clearly, and maybe make the first constellation a bit easier/slower.

Very cool mechanics. I really enjoyed the contrast between creating large lights and small ones. Bouncing fast moving small lights into large ones to give them a boost felt great!

Yeah this is great! I really enjoyed the visuals - everything felt polished and all those little touches like a good difficult progression or the shrinking projectile sizes made this a great game overall

Developer

I am so glad you noticed the small details and polish! <3
It was my goal right from the start to make sure to have time for details, feedback and polish. All the stuff that there is usually never enough time left for in jams.

Nice graphics and presentation!

Amazing game! Loved the uniqueness of the gameplay loop! And its a really nice touch the different projectile sizes that we can shoot by only going further, thats clever!

Fun game! Everything was polished, and it has a great concept! The difficulty progression was nice too.

Developer

Thanks! I decided to go with ultra simple gameplay, exactly so I could focus on polish, which I never end up having time for in Jams.
