10/10 my friends & I LOVED this game so so much! It was such a unique system & blend of concepts in our opinion!
It got so chaotic & the management system was fun. The UI was BEAUTIFUL, I appreciate how much the devs were able to put onto it without making it feel overwhelming (they even fit the map w/ visual sabotages). I loved how the doppelgangers worked in the game & how they were able to break down the train, but I wish they were able to be stopped by anyone vs only the "Real" Player.
We didn't play through the Tutorial & I think it's a real testament to the gameplay design that we were able to figure out core mechanics almost immediately after 1 Round! So, HUGE shoutout for that. And, genuinely? Thank you for letting items respawn inside the train in case they get thrown off lol!
A few things I think need work:
For our initial reaction to the game, you can find the VOD here. You'll have to forgive me, as I played the game during a 24hr Charity Stream. Timestamps are available, though:
This was so much fun to try to tackle with friends! Everything felt very well fleshed out and well crafted.
I love the variety of attack tickets and how they combine together to create a very intense situation. The ghostly encounters at various milestones of the run create very interesting choices, however i wish there was a possibility to have longer trips to allow them to pile up more. I lament we only had so much time to try the game out, I would have liked it to see what the game would be like at the higher difficulties.
I really like the multiplayer integrations and that you can visibly vote on screen.
A few critiques:
The VOD is linked below, and it will be available for 60 days from the time of broadcast. If needed for longer, please reach out and a highlight can be made. I apologize if we got derailed alot, we don't get to hang out often enough and were having too much fun.

Hello! Welcome to Feedback Quest 8! My name's Hythrain, a co-host and one of the streamers for this event! This feedback is being written live as I stream your game! If you're interested in seeing my live reaction, let me know and I can send you a link to the VOD once it's posted to YouTube!
So my normal approach for any game in these events is simple: I get the game, make sure it's not a virus, then play it with as little information on how to play as possible. This way, I can judge how intuitively someone can figure out the game. Only if it's obvious that I need to read more will I do so. I note this so you can get a sense where some of these feedback comes from. In addition, I want to note that feedback and rating are different; don't use this feedback to gauge what I'll rate, nor should you view my rating as entirely indicative of my feedback.
So I had planned to try and play this with others for my first experience. However, I'm down to only a handful of games left to cover so I decided to do it solo. This game is a lot of fun. I can see that this will get very chaotic very fast, as it was already doing that when I was only after my second train in normal mode.In all honesty, there were only two things I could think of to help improve the game in some way.
The first is in regards to the ladders for the Contain and Reactor cars. I think both of these should be a bit further away from other objects on the top (aka the dish and the hatch wheel). The reason I feel this is because I worry that when in a frenzy, people will accidentally hit the ladders instead of the other objects in question. I had this happen for me while I was in the tutorial while on the Contain car and why it came to mind at all for me.
The second thing has to do purely with solo mode. While I love the fact that the player is automatically given an automaton when playing solo, I feel that making use of Frank in solo is a lot more difficult than it can seem due to the fact that Frank can't go up and down ladders, but you ALSO can't take him up and down while he has a tool.
This led me to think of ways to fix this. At first, I was actually going to suggest that there be a second automaton that existed purely for solo mode that didn't have the limitation regarding ladders. However, as I've been writing this out I think there may be a far easier way to solve this: create an upgrade that Frank also automatically gets in Solo mode that gives him two two improvements. First, you can have Frank hold an item and then pick him up. Second, his battery will last longer. The second one allows the player to more effectively use Frank on the roof, since now he can just operate up there for a greater period of time, while the first will make it that you don't need to make multiple moves and trips when you want to switch Frank from inside the cars to the roof or vice-versa.
This is about all I got. Though I'm wondering... what's up with the cage in the armored car?
I played this with Plabs and BricksParts, and I know one of the devs showed up in the chat. I had vtubestudio and discord issues, so had to bail early. We talked about boss fights, difficulty spikes, and a few other things that are apparently all in development.
Graphics are cute, music is great, and OH BOY does it get chaotic after level 5. Still, a lot of fun, even with the little ring toss mini game. That's cute! Controls are easy and even in a "trial-by-fire" method, it still is easy to figure out, generally. Frank was a bit confusing, but we figured out how to use him a bit more as we played. He can definitely be an asset! This has a lot of solid potential and am looking forward to the full version!
Vod can be found here. Gameplay takes a while to get in to, as we were trying to get stream together to work, fully starting around 40:00 in

I enjoyed playing this game with Odenhir & BuriedCandy. The beginner mode made it easy to follow and understand what was going on. I'm glad you can see each other's health levels because we needed to remind folks sometimes 🤣
The attacks and challenges were fun and interesting. I think the only confusing moment we had was when we were trying to figure out what to do with the bombs. There did seem to be a pause in the music on the main menu.

Hi! thank you for reaching out to me to play this game. It's an experience for sure.
To give my brief personal thoughts as I started playing it Solo, it is very much possible to play solo thought that's probably reserved for some high tier gamer challenge run. I personally didn't enjoy it because the gameplay doesn't feel rewarding for such a play style. That's just my personal take.
However, I managed to get the Boys in to play together and it turned out pretty amazingly fun and chaotic. I do recommend you watch the stream and I sincerely apologize for the bluntness of my friends, but they had comments strewn about that I feel should be taken into account. Some of which included better controls, maybe better indicators and feedback from completing an action. Regardless, if you do watch it, we had fun genuinely so.
I think you have an amazing game made here, I feel that those who play it with their friends will find a lot of enjoyment and maybe some very minor polishes, it'll be perfect and if what you've seen is any indicator, some good marketing for the game will definitely bring it to the forefront.

Had a lot of fun co-oping this game with friends, I like the controls and easy to understand. We did have a difficult time getting Frank to work, I suggest adding Frank in the tutorial as well, I didn't understand what I was supposed to do to give him tasks, etc. The game play and music were exciting, and I'm excited to see what future "disasters" bring!
Had a wonderful time playing this co-op with another streamer friend! The tutorial was pretty clear with the gameplay information, except about Frank. That being said, the text information in the lobby gives plenty of information on how Frank works, so we figured it out without issue.
The art style and audio design is spectacular, and the gameplay felt intuitive and fluid! Definitely planning to pick this one up upon full release!

This was a lot of fun playing co op with a streamer friend of mine. It took us a bit to figure out things, but ultimately the tutorial walked us through it well and we picked it up quickly. I'm curious to see how crazy things get on higher difficulties and how things change, but def a promising demo to a game.
The tutorial is great and did not leave me with any questions on gameplay. I love the art style and old west look it hits on Steampunk a little. I would love to play this with some friends. The repairs add some challenge to the game and the frequency keeps you on your toes along with needing to keep the engine running so you have a little resource management thrown in.
