How does the game fit the theme?
Loot everything you can from a wrecked spaceship before it collapses completely, return to your escape pod when the alarm sounds to get out safely. Or risk it all to go back for more!

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
3D models, audio and UI assets were sourced online and credited in the description. I coded everything myself from scratch and built up the environment myself using the 3D assets.

How many people worked on the game?

HOLY is the game big- worthwhile play nonetheless, visuals, everything is outstanding

Super creepy atmosphere!  I always felt like I was being followed despite never finding a monster.  The anti-grav was a bit difficult to cross through doors with but really fit the space station vibe you were going for!  Awesome game!

I liked the atmosphere a lot but I kinda feel it needed more of a tutorial in the start :3 good job!

1.3 GB downloadable holy molly that's a chunky boi. The game looks awesome, with very pretty models and visual effects. Lighting is also top-notch! I guess that's why this is a download-only game instead of a web build, but I digress. The gameplay loop is actually quite simple, despite how I initially thought, but the simplicity is probably for the best for a jam game so I am not complaining. I really like how you added some difficulty (and horror) by turning off the lights and gravity. Kinda reminds me of Dead Space, but luckily, this is not a horror game. Thanks god.

For some criticism and suggestions, I think it would be nice to have something to indicate what can be looted and what can't. In the end screen, it said there are $6k worth of loot in the scene, but I don't think I can spot that much stuff in the scene. My guess was that there were some hidden small items that were worth a lot (found some crystal thingy that was worth $400, so there must be something more expensive), and it would be nice to have some indicator so that the loot won't blend in with the environment too much. I would suggest an outline when you are significantly near / pointing in the general direction? Secondly, I think running would be a good addition to the game, too. Why on earth are you still walking when you know the spaceship is near collapse? This would also speed up the pacing of the game and make it less boring when walking through the same corridor 6th times in a row.

Anyway, what an entry. I think you've done a nice job of making it! Keep up the good work!

Really cool concept! I had A LOT of motion blur, but the visuals were great. The zero gravity mechanic was also very interesting. Also, what did you use to make this?

Really well made! The concept is so cool and unique and I love the immersion. The zero gravity mechanic is really cool aswell. Great job!

Oh wow!

This looks beautiful. If only our PC could actually behold this beauty.

( ̄ω ̄; )

I had to outsource and ask my partner to play it (I get motion sickness when playing first person games) and same with his computer, movement isn't smooth but when we do pause and just look at the environment, it really looks highly-defined and the ambience is amazing.

I was honestly waiting for some alien jump scare somewhere. Like it would be a risk to just go into the rooms. The meeting room gave me a mini-heart attack while I was watching my partner because I honestly thought someone was inside. We were using the flashlight then the alarm went off so it added to the horror, suspense feel.

Great work!

You can improve the game by probably introducing the mechanics through a dialogue or voice-over of a companion (could be your captain, your co-worker or an AI assistant)

Amazing atmosphere, jesus christ what a thriller. The first time playing, I felt pressure but I didn't really know what I was doing and I failed in the end. Second time around jesus christ I felt the blood rush through me trying to get as much money as possible. Speaking of which, I think the grading should be a bit more lenient, especially considering that most likely not all players are even going to get even a good chunk of the total rewards since the main player moves as slow as he does.

Also, make sure I don't think the game was at 60 fps on my pc which has a rtx 4060. Make sure that optimizations are made for the game while playing because not everyone is going to have a pc good enough to play this game. Though I will say, it is worth the dynamic lighting to achieve what you did with the shutdowns cause that sealed the scary infinite abyss that was just in sight of the player.

Congrats on your game!

The atmosphere is great! The vibes kinda reminded me of the early sections in Prey when resource was scare and everything was a gamble. I love the use of environmental cues to inform the player how much time is left. Red lights - bad. Pretty intuitive. The game is visually stunning as well, which is a pity for me because my old scrap of junk can only play it for a few minutes before melting down. On that note, I'd love to see a low-res version one day, would get hours out of it!

I wasnt sure if this was really going to fit the theme until I said outloud "just one more scrap"

great job! The atmosphere really sells the idea of "ship falling apart"

although it doesnt seem possible to score above an F, maybe the ability to throw things would be good?

NIce! Yesterday I couldn't play properly cause I was getting performance issues, but today I tried again in the same PC, so I think it's not an issue in your game. I'd wish you had an advice in the game to what means the alert sound, I only managed to escape cause I read the description in Itch. Other than that, cool game, I liked how the boxes spawn in different areas each new try, and also the mechanics with the gravity and flashlight, I think you made a good job in these aspects. The box sometimes collides with objects when I'm holding it, I think the collider could be smaller when Holding it. The graphics are amazing, and even though you haven't made them from scratch, you made a really good use of the assets, I liked the sound when I pulse in some direction in a gravity 0 environment. Also the theme fits well in the game, just in curiosity: it's even possible to achieve a Rank A? I played the best I could and only could get rank F. Except that once the alert played I stopped and didn't risk anymore lol, so I lost like 30 seconds in the safe room, but I don't think I would get rank A if I risked. Well, pretty solid game, congrats!

I love the atmosphere and the idea is solid! I'm not sure if it's random but on my run, almost all the loot was red boxes which seemed to be worth more than the few smaller items I found so it didn't feel like I had a lot of choice in what I bring back for points but I'm sure that could be improved with time. Like some others said, the FoV felt a bit extreme. It didn't cause me any discomfort but it did feel a bit off. Similarly, the mouse sensitivity was a bit too high for my mouse. Those are all very minor issues though that didn't impede the gameplay. Overall, great job!

The gameplay loop is quite interesting. I didn't play the game but I think it's like the concept of Returnal? (or a similar game I'm not sure). Or like a solo Lethal Company where you mostly fear the environments than monsters. I like it, with more polish and gameplay element I would definitely buy and play a game like this!

Also the ambience is really good, good job!

Visually is looking great. Cool idea for a game. Need a little polish here and there.

Wow, the visuals are top notch 👌

I've tried it for a bit and I think it looks impressive with all the lighting set up. Atmosphere was top notch too with sounds that really elevate it. I have lots of problem with the camera though, its sensitivity is a bit off for me (maybe too fast) so I got a bit sea sick from it which I cannot proceed very far. (maybe also from the tiny shakes in the environment as well - I'm quite prone to carsick).
I do wish some tutorial is in the game though, I literally thought the game crashed when actually I need to turn on the flashlight (which is noted down in the game description).
1.2GB is a lot of ask for a game jam though

The sensitivity was too much unfortunately, I was able to do a bit of the loop though. Being a solo project this is still super impressive for a week, there are layers of gameplay set up. Its just a bit rough around the edges.

This game has a lot of potential with the slightest bits of polish on the character controller and some of the mechanics, For example;

- perhaps a way to track your path back to the drop off (im thinking the deadspace objective line)

- Low sensitivity  to really feel like your in a space suit

- adjusting of the movement, when the anti grav comes on it would be cool if that was when you had the most control

I could go on but the idea is still super cool. Great work in a week!

Really great visuals, and I especially loved the zero-g effect and walking around in the dark with the flashlight. I kept waiting for an alien to jump out at me or something like that.. there was a lot of suspense, and I could see this being a fun horror game. Nice job!

Nice small game. Although visuals and audio are good, they're all assets, so I can't really give you credit :/ . But generally good work :)
