A very great idea and hats off to making a 3D game.
Unfortunately, it was often very difficult to keep your bearings due to the mouse controls and a short description of the controls would have been helpful, as you didn't know whether you could accelerate or decelerate (especially because it was extremely fast in between and then very slow again).

However, I thought it was good that you included more than one path so that it didn't get too boring.

It's a very nice idea - I fondly remember the olden days in which I was cruising with a shopping cart across the parking lot. However, since you start with a very high speed, the level design and intended path should be adjusted. Maybe the perspective too, since at first, I couldn't really make out where I was supposed to go despite the giant arrow. Though maybe the shelves were blocking the view a bit too.

For this particular game, I think one long track could be better suited instead of multiple rounds. Or, if you decide to keep the rounds, maybe the "finish line" and the round counter could stick out more visually to indicate when you passed one round.

I was a little overwhelmed at first, as you race at a very high speed directly toward a wall. At first, I thought I had to collect certain items from the shelves. After a few tries, however, I understood the goal of the game and had a lot of fun. Perhaps it would have been good to add a countdown at the beginning of the game, after the actual game starts.

Cool game, i like that you can take multiple paths. Was a bit confusing and a bit to fast at the beginning.

i really like the idea of the game and i think its an interesting concept. However, i think you should make it more clear which way the player should go, because even tho you have those big green arrows, it wasnt really clear (for me perosnally - maybe it was just a big skill issue from my side)

I find it an interesting idea to make a racing game where you control the vehicle with only your mouse and your speed cannot increase, only decrease.

However the game had a problem with detecting my mouse movement at every beginning of a round and I am not sure if that is a me problem or a general problem, but it made the experience worse, especially when the whole movement is based on it, so I would be delighted to hear the reason why this is a case and if it is something you have to fix or I.

But besides that I had fun!

It looks and feels good, but the beginning was confusing and a bit too fast for me.

Good job! Keep it up!

Cool game. I love that you have multiple paths. The store could be a little bigger, and there is no introduction to the game, and what the objective is. But besides that, very nice game.

It took me a while to get used to the controls and the environment.

A timer at the beginning would be really good because you are completely throw into the game.

I really like the game concept itself and had fun playing it.

First off I had a lot of fun playing this game and love the concept. It's very creative! The gameplay feels smooth and intuitive though I was a little confused at the start as to what the objective is. I think it would have been great to put some kind of countdown at the beginning to indicate a race. All in all it was great!

I really like cruising through market with my own car. Did that back in Childhood! Thats a +1 for creativity and narrative. Though I was really confused what to do for my first minute playing because I was watching the floor while drivin 200 mph. I had to ask then. I think I would have liked to see a shield when drifting around the first or second corner.

Love the concept! tho would have loved that you played a bit more with the map layout.

Also it would be nice to have a small startup timer to have soem time to mentally prepare for the run hehe

Nice 3d assets, could have put a bit more polish on the environment itself, as the lack of textures drag down the 3d assets that you made into an unfinished supermarket limbo.

Still, good work!

Really cool game! I love some of the 3D assets, especially the shopping kart. Wasn't really sure what to do at the beginning, but after a few tries I got the gist of it. :D

Very silly concept, I had a lot of fun playing!

I think the games graphics could be a bit more polished, you should definitely add some textures to the levels geometry to make it feel less like a liminal warehouse and more like a supermarket.  I also think instead of running multiple laps, you couldve made one long lap starting and finishing at the outside where you grab your shopping cart. It feels a bit off, running past the register and taking another lap instead of leaving the supermarket after going through it once. You guys should definitely consider polishing the game a bit more now that the jam is over!

I still think you could have done without the racing game genre conventions of having to complete laps. From the first second, when the player gets launched into the level, they understand intuitively that they have to avoid the geometry to not slow down. You have a pretty nice win and lose state with that interaction between level and player alone. Figuring out where to go in the long run and understanding the level layout and the checkpoint triggers just detracts from that pretty clean interaction experience, in my opinion. I think it's a great idea to have wares falling into the cart when it bumps into the shelves (maybe the faster the bump, the more items in the cart?) and have the end score be how much the player has to pay because of all the items in the cart. I think your game has a lot of untapped comedic potential; consider doing a post-jam version. Great job!

was confused about the game goal for the first 2 rounds but enjoyed the acceleration, just some small things like fixing the round count or a bigger Level and the game could be a lot of fun
