ANOTHER CAKEWALK USER IN TOP 20 HELL YEAH!!!! (i dont actually use cakewalk anymore but i used to until very recently)

This kicks ass! The atmospheres and textures are awesome.

The quality is very clean and clear, with a great balance of reverb. The space is really done well. Great work!

great OST, big fan of Last Summer Day and The Strange Figure Only I Can See!!!! got em jet set radio vibes

my only criticism is that most tracks dont feel like theyre from the same game, and some dont feel like they fit their "purpose", e.g. The Strange Figure Only I Can See being too energetic for a quirky mascot, in my opinion. speaking of that track, it feels like theres TOO much going on in the background

Dude I can't believe you hit me with the roundstart stank face into headphones flying off head combo. Is there no counterplay to this 'cause it hit just as hard as the many times I played it back in the discord 😭

I'm tabbing back and forth between a lot of tabs while listening to these and I think I accidentally ended up listening to some of these like 3-4 times because of how well they looped. Best loop has to be "The Strange Figure Only I Can See," had to listen to that loop back a few times just on its own. I can absolutely see the game vision, and I really don't have much to say other than a very long list of more positive adjectives about everything here. Looking at the lil blurb for Aroma of Truth, it sounds less like an investigation song and more a connecting-the-logic moment with its stripped back mix. This whole thing is instantly going on my top 5 list holy

Yeah I don’t really know what else to say other than “yes”- I am definitely in agreement that [1] Last Summer Day is the best but I also really liked the “trial” theme use in [7] Drowning in Deep Waters and [4] That Summer Night successfully awakened the “oh no” Danganronpa sleeper agent inside of me- Also I very much appreciate the clean loops, that’s very nice. Overall a really really good submission, great work!

You were the entry to have 2 of my top 6 tracks for the ENTIRE JAM.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

The first track holy banger. The violin at "That summer day" stands out a bit, I still liked the feeling of despair it gave. The mixing at "The Strange Figure Only I Can See"can be improved, but it was still very good. I reaally liked the beat and the overall atmosphere at "Drowning in Deep Waters". This was very explosive and overall really nice.

This submission is insane. Loved the range of emotion throughout the project, and the production is great. 10/10. 'Drowning In Deep Waters' is so hard.

MAN, what the fuck were you on when you made this soundtrack??!?!??!? /pos

Last Summer Day is one of the best songs from this jam, i will never get tired of those drums and that crazy bassline holy. and that beat switch at the end???? what the Hell man

Calm Before The Storm is literally Hip Shop 2. this song is so smooth and the catchy melodies are literally everything

i also love the sampling in The Strange Figure I Can Only See

overall amazing submission!!

Hi umm soooo... why isn't this available to download? Because I kind of really need Last summer day, Calm Before he Storm

This really is just a Danganronpa soundtrack it is clear you understood the inspiration.

The first 2 tracks were such unbelievable bops! While the rest isn't as much my favorite, that doesn't mean they are bad. They sound very Danganronpa which means they work for a full game OST. I just liked the first 2 a lot and as such wanted more of them.

Edit: Oh I just found the Zip file for the songs. Big fan! Going in my playlist!

Amazing stuff! The main theme reminds me of the main theme from Master Detective Achieves: Rain Code. You can really hear the Masafumi Takada inspiration in this soundtrack. And despite running low on time you were still able to put out a fantastic collection of tracks. Again Great job!

So I go to the itch.io page to listen because I avoid having to download files if possible. I am on the page and hit play then alt tab off to work,

Im banging my head and there is a really interesting flow going on.

At some point I let the music sort of fade out of focus while I work on something and wait for the next track or silence to jostle the music back into focus

Big Mistake

10 Minutes later im wondering how in the world the first track is still banging this hard.

ITS ON A LOOP

I somehow dont remember this and proceed to do something similar for EVERY OTHER TRACK BECAUSE THEY ARE PERFECTLY LOOPED

Thats how you turn a 10 minute OST into a 1 hour, 30 minute OST

Congrats friend. Top marks from me.

It should be illegal how hard this OST goes. Great work in such a short amount of time.

You don't need to upload this on any streaming service yourself because it's going directly on the jam's compilation album! (no, seriously, consider uploading it somewhere because it's really really good). I'm in awe seeing how you made something of such high quality in just a week, it's really inspiring for me! The first 2 tracks are my favorites, i will definitely keep "Calm before the storm" on the background while doing other stuff, it's such a nice vibe.

The second those drums came in on the first track, I knew we were in for a good time. Those vox samples are great! Second track in- yes I am vibing with this. great story telling as well, I really got a sense of what would be happening narratively.

Holy moly the volume jump when the rest of the instruments come in after the intro in Last Summer Day😲, good thing I was listening on speakers or else I would've probably thrown my headphones 😂

This is pretty much just a collection of bangers after bangers, really great stuff, cant say more!

"That Summer Night" is nice and creepy with the reversed reverb, giving nice time-shenanigans vibes. I also really dig the amount of delay with well chosen timing, adding to the time theme.

Great Job! I think all the tracks were cohesive. I liked your Last Summer Day & Reverie.
