Game Description
This game is about expanding space to solve puzzles. Its set in a world where humans routinely travel to extradimensional locations to explore and gather resources. Your coworker has gone missing, and you head to his last known whereabouts to bring him back.
How does your game tie into the theme?
The game is about expanding the level geometry to solve puzzles. I was inspired by the expansion of the universe, and thought it would be cool to have the power to grow and shrink areas of the univers. For wildcards I used limited palette - everything in the level is grey, and all the color comes from lighting. This is a trick I learned they use sometimes in theater, where the backdrop is painted in grey and the overhead lights provide different colors throughout the show. I hope that counts!

Cool concept! I couldn't go past the level with the bridge, but still a great experience!
Really cool take on the theme and execution of the expansion mechanics! Awesome job!
Great concept and great execution!
This is a really great entry for this jam. I think this one will finish high up the rankings!
Really great atmosphere
Good job and congratulations on your submission!
Wow this game is really excellent! It might be my favorite, at least out of the games I've looked at so far.
The atmosphere and sound works very well, and the game just has a lot of vibes. I see I'm not the only person to comment "yo this game reminds me of <thing>" but for me it makes me think of SCP and Superliminal. And I figure you're doing something right if the game evokes things for people :P
And the core mesh-dilation mechanic is both pretty cool and highly theme-relevant.
One thing is the cursor stayed visible for me and I could see it jittering around weirdly as the script forced it to stay in the center for the first-person controls. I'm 99% sure this only happened because I was playing in browser though, and the page does say it looks better if you download the game. Sadly I'm on mac so it was the only option for me. But I'll assume most people didn't have this issue.
Really nice work with this one.
It reminded me of The Stanley Parable! Great puzzles and an amazing atmosphere. I’m really surprised you managed to pull this off in just a week!
wow... this one got me hooked for the whole experience. really clever level design. I saw some Blue Prince/Superliminal/Viewfinder vibes, and I think those are really cool games that I respecto a lot. If that's the inspiration, congrats!!
Even when you can see they are simple levels (we could not expect more in 9 days I think), its obvious that it works really well, and they are well planned, (the fact that the camera points in the direction where you should put the thing is a very very good decission to keep us playing and not "wonder" around the room looking for "what am i supposed to do".
I think it's got potential to become a bigger game that evolves with 2 or 3 more mechanics. and watching what you did in 9 days, I'm sure you can make it even better.
The music also was a good choice I think, and the atmosphere you created was also in the good direction
I have only one issue, that is actually just a suggestion, and its also the same issue I have with blue prince actually xD and its the walking speed is toooo much slow for me, I think it's a bit more enjoyable when you can move a bit faster! but again, just a subjective comment!
good job!! (I will check your other games when the jam is over, I see you have loads of them!!!)
Astonishing entry - the deformation mechanic is pretty interesting, its an interesting take on the theme. Took me a moment to realize I could move the sphere with the mouse instead of just going forward and backward. The story is pretty nice, I've kind of expected that ending to an extend (... or a jumpscare). Good job!
Great puzzle idea ! And I love the atmosphere & musics. Good job!
What a solid experience, the atmosphere is so good and I love how much you did with such a small amount of writing! For a jam, I think the mechanic and length work really well, but I definitely would be into seeing the mechanic expanded on. Would have loved gamepad support and a sprint, I played through on web and a second time with the download so it looked better and the intro hall is pretty long if you’ve just read it.
I really enjoyed the puzzles and the theatrics! It overall felt really immersive and made for a pretty interesting experience. Using a mesh deformer for puzzles feels very unique and satisfying. Pretty well contained and well executed!

This is super creative and the liminal space aesthetic + the music set the perfect tone for this premise. Found myself wishing that it was a little longer and that I could interact more with the world to learn more about it. Bringing in the theatre lighting trick is also super creative and the type of cross-media influence I love to see, super cool entry!
Genuinely a really cool mechanic, had some issues with it which caused me to get soft locked but that's a skill issue and why the restart button is there LMAO. Really good atmosphere, the minimal art style helped it a lot and having a story made it actually quite interesting. Great submission :)
Fuuuck! This is so good! Absolutely drippin' in atmosphere. Gave me the same kinda chills from playing Outer wilds/Blue Price.
Such a seriously good job and unique take on the theme, absolutely loved it!
I really really liked the deformable mesh with the orb. Really great idea. Pretty good implementation too. Good job!
Holy shit that was easily the coolest thing I have played in this game so far. The game feels still a bit clunky especially with the WAY too slow mouse speed and movement, but you completely nailed in the athmosphere and audio department! Also this is by far the most creative use of the theme expansion I've seen!
This really has soo much potential to be something greater if you put the effort in it!
Great Job!!
(Btw the downloaded version for windows didn't render at all on my system. I have a AMD Graphics Card and I heard Godot had some issues with them, so maybe look into that)
Thanks for the feedback, I wanted it to feel like "heavy" to move the orb around but I didn't quite nail it! Maybe your mouse could be whatever speed but the orb would move towards it slowly? And sorry about the exe, I had that AMD driver problem and luckily the patch from a couple days ago fixes it. Please lmk if you still have problems!
Oh yeah I updated via the link you gave me and now its working without a problem :)
I think you really hit a good vibe by keeping everything grey and throwing the lights on. I think the puzzle aspect of the game was fairly light, but I think the mechanic was very interesting and I’d like to play more with it. Good atmosphere! My only issue was the movement and mouse sensitivity was really slow/low and there wasn’t a volume slider. Good work!
Thanks for the feedback, will def add sliders for volumes and mouse sensitivity! And yeah I thought of this as hopefully the first 10 min of a bigger game, I have so many ideas that I just couldn't do in jam scope!
This is one of the most atmospheric entries I’ve played. The concept is brilliant and the way you’ve executed the space-bending mechanic is super clever. It hits that perfect balance of being intuitive once it clicks while still feeling fresh and original the whole way through.
Really loved the lighting work too. Using greyscale geometry with coloured lighting creates such a striking mood and it makes every scene feel carefully composed without relying on loads of textures. I also appreciated the little bit of narrative to frame the experience. It gave the whole thing just enough weight to pull me in without getting in the way of the puzzles.
Absolutely nailed the theme. Would be very excited to see more levels or ideas in this world if you decide to keep going. Great stuff.
Thank you! My secret is that the meshes just weren't displaying their materials properly and I realized I could fulfill the wildcard AND ignore a bug lol. But then after putting time into the lighting design I was super pleased with how it turned out, happy accident!
So the classic “it’s a feature, not a bug” has been proven once again? Very brave to just roll with it in a jam context.
Wow! This game is a blast! Coolest idea so far and the entire experience is incredible. Love the choice of music and the dark-light aesthetics of the game. Furhtermore it's great to see some narrative in as well. Really well done, congrats!
