This is a really great entry. Super fun visuals and sounds. The drill is so OP I love it haha.
The way you're supposed to upgrade your things were a bit confusing at first but I was able to figure it out. I love the balance of the game, the timing one needs to spend on the game is perfect.
The one thing I kinda have a gripe with the game is the fact that I cannot press ESC to regain control of my mouse pointer (I use Firefox for my browser). Every time I press ESC the game immediately takes back control of the mouse pointer. There was one time I was able to pull up the pause menu and regain control of the mouse pointer, but somehow I can only seem to open it once, and I don't know which key was it to open the pause menu as well. So I think you could look into that to provide a better experience for the players to your game page, since I had to ALT+F4 my whole browser down and reopen it to post this review :)
Other than that this was a superb game. Great job!
woah weird! I didn't even think to test other browsers (this is my first browser game). Pausing was a bit finicky and weirdly inconsistent in chrome too, though. I gotta look into it again, or just put it on a different button or something 😵
Not sure if I'm a fan of the theme you guys used, but overall everything is great. THE DRILL IS SUCH A GOOD DOPAMINE RUSH! The gameplay can sort of get tedious at times, but that's alright, its a 5 day jam and it's a pretty fun game all around. Also the art is really good!

What an addictive game! I could honestly play this for hours, aha. I love the cute visuals, and the gameplay loop is super fun!! just wish there was a bit more variety, like new enemies or obstacles as you progress.
Still, this was a blast to play! The music and sound design were great, and man, I love that “money go up” feeling, lol. Sadly, I couldn’t play much further since the game crashed when I tried to upgrade to the 3000 coin ship :(
It’s a shame because I was really enjoying it! Hopefully, if you update or make a full version, that can be fixed, cause this has so much potential! :)

Probably the most addicting entry in this game jam to me, very fun gameplay loop, although i wish the game had enemies or some sort of obstacle to make it a bit more interesting. The art style is very cute and the song got stuck in my head, in a good way (it kinda sounds like a Sonic colors songs, dont know if that was the intention though haha), great game!
As soon as I released my grabber I knew I wanted to grab something. Simple but effective gameplay loop. Interesting decision-making pressure how the game requires you to stop grabbing to do your upgrading.

The most addicting game I played so far! I found myself wanting to complete the ship and escape, I liked the upgrade system. My only complaint is I found it best just to stay in the centre and spam left click, might be cool to have some hazards or a reason to move about.
