It's spooky, it's got a maze, and it's a game. Just as advertised.

There's a surprising amount of depth to this one. As simple as the mechanics are, the level design does a lot with them, so it doesn't get repetitive. I had a good time with that one. I didn't expect a fresh take on the screamer Flash game of all things, but you've really pulled it off here.

Also, thanks for including a Linux build!

Thank you so much for the kind words

You've successfully refreshed the concept. I like that the levels are diverse. I also recommend adapting the game to different screen sizes.

I remember playing these as a kid, and this one definitely delivers a unique perspective on it. Very cool to see something like this in this jam, good work!

Very simple game, reminds me of that maze game, where a dude on the video smashed his pc screen haha

Loved this, the dog saving part, being chased ME NO LIKEY, started fat fingering my keys and getting caught

This really takes me back to my middle school days. Loved it!

I would have loved to see more. it was a funny little game I got a good chuckle from

Definitely a big throwback, granted a bit easier for my heart so I actually got to complete it! Gotta make this a browser game and bring these mazes back!

Unironically, very charming. It got some good giggles outta me

Watched your stream, thanks for playing

Simple game. I liked the gravity level could have done more of that. The biggest spook wasn't the images but the fact the game closed itself so fast after moving into exit :D

I really liked the parts where you go off-screen and the level where gravity appears.
In the off-screen section, I enjoyed how you have to track your position by watching the monster’s movements.
And in the gravity level, it was terrifying — when you accidentally fall into the pit on the right and the monster comes after you, there’s absolutely nothing you can do!
The monster’s design is wonderfully horrifying, but I felt a bit sad that it looked so small while chasing me — I couldn’t quite see what it really looked like.
...But as I was writing this, I reached the stage right before the final one, and there it was — a big, clear image of the monster!
That stage felt like escaping from rising lava, which was really cool

Simple but entertaining game  it keeps you tense as you try to escape the screamers through the mazes and reach the cute dog, haha.

I really liked it!

Thanks! make sure to rate the game

OMG I had forgotten to hit the rate button, thanks for reminding me haha!

I loved it, it's a good balance between something simple and enjoyable to play.

Wow that was quite creative. I love how there are so many variations on the levels. I liked the one level where you have to bait the enemy to the hallway you're in before going for the pickup. The music is spooky and fits very well. I also think the way you did the credits was very clever. Awesome stuff!

Glad to see a submission like this.  This idea was the first thing to cross my mind when thinking about this jam.  Please feel free to see what I ended up with for my 'Jump Scare' game..
