Oh my! I absolutely love the feline aesthetics throughout the game! The textures are simple but effective in conveying a creepy kitty vibe, especially while you are searching for the cat. So cool to have eyes in the wood texture, the wall paper, and have it all look really nice as it comes together. I get a sense that you had planned to fill the house up a bit more, but that being said what you have doesn't look 'incomplete' at all. LOVE that you were inspired by PT, that experience was a pioneer in horror games. It can be tedious to do a loop/cycle type gameplay, but I am sure with more time you would have made it even more awesome. Nice job!

I like the aesthetic and the lore. The cat looks strange, in a good way.
Cool idea reminds me of PT by Konomi! Loves the visuals and really liked them inside of the bedroom. Audio was great too!
I found the cat beside a piece of paper. Couldn't interact with either of them.
It looks really good; with these detailed textures, skewed angles, and offbeat color palette, it's like being inside a Tim Burton movie. The sounds are also quite immersive, nice and creepy.
That said, I'm not sure the gameplay loop is really enough to sustain this. Just having a clickable item at the end of each leg of the journey would have made more narrative sense. In a way, this reminds me of Silent Hill: PT. I don't know whether that was a conscious influence.
Random gripe: why can't I open doors? I'm supposed to be human, right? Or did the cat curse me with the feline inability to open doors?
Fun fact: I played this game with my calico sitting next to me. She kept trying to walk on the keyboard.
Note: In the Windows build, the mouse sensitivity is intolerably low. (I see that there is an Options menu, but when I clicked on it, it made the game hang.) I ended up playing the WebGL build instead.
As a cat owner, I can coniform this is how it is!
I think the game loop of walking around the whole house, seeing the door is shut, finding the cat and then doing that over and over again was very tedious, a run mechanic or something would have really really made the game so much better, this just felt 10 minutes longer than it was supose to. Way too slowpaced and tedious...
Not sure if it is cause I played the web build, but at the last scene nothing happened, the cat was just at the doorway and looked at me, I tried looking at the computer, at the cat, at the chair and nothing happened, I also tried turning away and still.. Nothing happened! (The wallpaper was creppy though)
Also the computer and chair are missing colliders so you can easily walk into them.
I think that the cat being the horror monster is quite a clever twist!
Really cool game.

Well, the game was pretty interesting for sure. I'm not sure what the story is, but I assume that the player received a cat from their girlfriend or their ex-girlfriend and wants the player to take care of it. However, the player not only refused to do their job, but the cat slowly curses him so that it steals the player's humanity every night. The player starts to get shorter and sees cats on pictures instead of humans. Finally, the cat has become a giant bipedal creature and traps the player inside their room. The cat shall now take care of the human, or what has become of him.
Some parts of the game made me feel uneasy like the part where the cat stares at the player with red glowing eyes, and the part where the cat slowly teleports through the hallway and gets closer. I don't know if the game has an ending, as I'm stuck at the part where the giant cat traps the player in their room. But I do like the game's story and how it can be interpreted any way the player wants.
Moral of the story: take care of your cat, or the cat will take care of you.
Thank you for playing it!
Turns out, our final cutscene wasn't playing, but yes, this room you were in is final. I've made a fix, but was 1 hour late for bugfix upload window. So, I guess it is how it is...
Also, some players shared their theories on story on games page, it's cool that all of those are different.
Pretty interesting game, though it gets quite repetitive quickly.
Keep up the good work!
