Great work on this game.

Who would have thought that a game about sketchy roller coasters would make me so nostalgic. Remind me of flash games I played back in the day.

Stellar job! I initially didn’t get to pull the lever left, like it was pinball, I kept clicking and swiping right. I also didn’t realize that you needed to click the upgrades to then purchase them. That’s it in the “complaints” department, this was so much fun!

Ahhh so I'm one of the people who test played the web build on Discord and I'm blown away by how much you improved and changed after! The UI and art looks amazing and I really love all the icons and the design of everything. The tutorial is great - the only thing I didn't realize at first was I could pull the lever back even farther to use more force! Which was super cool.

I LOVED learning about coasters and all the little bits and pieces of info fed to me as I played.

Also, the poor little people being flung from the coaster when I messed up was kinda funny but also a bit tragic. I did think it was a bit odd to get 'Success' message on levels where you lost crash test dummies? Though I understand it would probably be impossible to keep everyone in probably given the nature of the game.

Overall, this is a very cool game and extremely fun to play! Really great work

Really cool game! The graphics look great and feels very polished. Fun to play around with.

Never thought I'd see a rollercoaster simulator, but in retrospect I totally should've. This was an awesome experience and such a cool way of using tool scripts in Godot! Amazing work!

This is very impressive for the scope of a jam! I did struggle with placing control points and their adjustments, but you did mention in the description that this is probably due to text overlap/catching mouse click events so it sounds like something you could fix given a little more time. Maybe if a ride passes inspection, it could remember the force you launched with, and save that playback info for us to share?

I liked the part where I got to commit gross negligence and vehicular manslaughter :3

Jokes aside, I really enjoyed my time with this one. It’s really addictive and I really want more levels out of a game like this (not that the current amount is bad given the time frame of the jam). The game was also extremely polished, all the accessibility is very welcome. The graphics reminded me of neal.fun games, and that’s a compliment in my book, it’s a charming artstyle that works well.

tldr good game

The people flying around got a chuckle out of me, and I enjoyed the mechanics!

Really cool, had a lot of fun throwing people into the air and catching them later.

Awesome concept and it was executed really well. Lots of polish for a game jam. Great job!

I really like the concept and the art was phenomenal, I am however bad at these kinds of games so I did not make it very far, either way still really liked what I did play!

Had an absolute blast with this one, didnt think of Rollercoasters at all! Artstyle and music were top notch!
Only Complaint i have was the editing of the track itself, that was a bit finnicky from time to time!

Such a creative idea and fun puzzle game, I really like how you interpreted the theme, this one was fantastic to play!

I love the concept, the music and the art, but I have quite some difficulties dragging the control points around: besides the already mentioned text interfering problem, the point sometimes just doesn't follow my mouse, not sure if I was moving too fast.

Developer

Yes, especially in the web build it seems the point often lags the cursor and drops when not intended. Going slow does help, but I agree it’s not convenient. Thanks for playing!

Great concept and style, loved the music (<3 Fradono). Had a lot of fun shooting the little guys around and catching them later down the track for some extra points! Big bonus points for the accessibility and developer settings. Awesome job!

This must have taken significant effort to accomplish. This is so cool, even the mere fact that you can customize your controls is making me gasp my breath. The game itself is well-made and oddly educational too? Very, very well done. I feel a particular affinity toward this jam entry more than any other so far.

Developer

Thanks for playing and glad you liked it! Control remapping comes with my jam template available in my profile. There are at least a few templates that include control remapping, the most popular is probably Maaack’s. Cheers!

Really fun to play around, reallllllly enjoyed pulling the little spring all the way back and seeing them go flying off. Gives me the vibe of the old rollercoaster tycoon games when you let the train derail onto a path.

great visual art, impressive style! Music is well match, game has some nice chill vibe.

Gameplay is pretty cool i like idea and nice approach to theme. I would love to have more possibilities to create your own tracks with some simple economy of building your rollercoaster place.

Congratulations on your submission!

Loved the presentation from the start with the sketchy stuff and paper. This was a lot of fun. Gave the player creative freedom, with a nice music and atmosphere, and great use of the theme. Thanks for making this, I enjoyed playing.
