Hi everyone,

I am looking to break into the professional side of the industry as a QA Analyst / Playtester. To build my portfolio, I am starting a YouTube channel dedicated to analytical playtesting (not "Let's Plays").

I am looking for 1-2 indie games to playtest this week.

What you get:

  • "Think Aloud" Gameplay: A video recording where I verbalize my thought process, frustrations, and confusion in real-time.
  • UX/UI Focus: I specifically look for friction points in onboarding, menus, and core mechanics.
  • A Written Summary: I will include a bug/feedback list in the video description using standard formatting.

What I get:

  • Material to practice my analysis skills and build my portfolio.

How to submit: Please drop a link to your game in the comments and let me know if there is a specific feature you want me to focus on (e.g., "Check the tutorial" or "Test the combat balance").

I am a hobbyist developing free roguelike deckbuilder: https://alsoknown.itch.io/way-to-crown

I would be great if you could playtest it.

The game is quite complex and has rather steep learning curve, so while “first impressions” testing on tutorial and UI is also welcome, I would really appreciate more in-depth feedback on balance and replayability, which could take a little bit more of your time.

You can look at existing feedback / discussion on our forum and discord, or DM me directly in discord: alsoknown1.

My current project, Mage vs Demons -> https://locotegames.itch.io/magevsdemons is still in development but already has two playable levels. I'd be honored if you could try it, as feedback isn't very common on itch.io. I know there are several things I need to add or fix, but another perspective on how things work in the game is always welcome. Currently, I know it needs a bit more information on how to play. The music is on its way. So, as far as it's concerned, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Are you still looking for a project? (I can give you a special playtest version of my game). Here's the link to the itch page with the latest stable version: https://99-studios.itch.io/twardy2. It is a survival game with an (upcoming) soul-like aspect. (Please note that I am currently working on a major update for the game, which will overhaul most of the game's code).
