It’s a shame that you can’t buy anything from the shop, but the graphics and atmosphere are really cool! I also loved the fishing mini-game.
Good work!

It’s a shame that you can’t buy anything from the shop, but the graphics and atmosphere are really cool! I also loved the fishing mini-game.
Good work!
Interesting concept but in the web build I get stuck in the interface that describes a fish after I catch it. I can move around but the banner with fish details is on screen and camera does not follow the cat anymore.
Ooh I had fun. The fishing mechanic is fun and well made, just juicy enough to want to keep fishing. The premise of the game works and audio doesn’t get in the way. I like the character model and design for the contrast to the environment. Graphics work together, and there’s a good amount of juice in there to feel interesting.
While I can see you didnt have enough time to do everything you wanted, everything you have done here not only looks great but works really well together! Sad the shop wasnt working, but getting all these shaders working must have been a headache. Even though we both had a text-reading+scrolling style ala animal crossing, its refreshing to see such a different implementation. Great work :)
Very fancy, and for the parts I can access, very polished!
Fun entry, which I'm going to guess is Animal Crossing inspired :).
Love the graphics and the dialog for each of the fishing items. Unfortunate that the shop broke... Hope that you will update it after the game jam! Had a lot of fun and this is pretty chill fishing sim :)
Love the animal crossing 'tube world' style map and the grass shader you have. The way it works with the lights and the day night cycles is really cool. I really want to play more and help the little guy get off world, fishing up an entire oil tanker made me laugh. Great entry and I look forward to seeing what you release in the future!
This is such a cute game! I really loved the graphics.
The fishing mini game is also very satisfying, one of the best I've ever played (and I played quite a lot!). It really is just that good.
I did have quite a lot of freezes when playing in browser though. I also managed to (kind of?) break the game by spamming the fishing rod, and it was spamming me with the "caught something" exclamation mark, but I couldn't reel it in.
Really great entry overall! 🔥
Really great visual effects! It was amazing when I realized how you made phone menu, really creative idea :D
Game has some nice vibe, exploration, fishing and chill music. That's just great mix!
Just curious how did you do that grass animation? It looks good and really match style of the game.
Congratulations on your submission!
I somehow love the game's aesthetics. The grass especially is mesmerizing to watch.
Fishing mechanic works pretty well. Personally I wouldn't mind making it slightly harder to hit the green area.
It is a pitty that shop is broken, but overall I had fun playing your game.
Good job!
this is such a calm and sweet game to exist in. i played for a while, but without the shop it takes a long time to get parts... i got 4 out of 8. but, the aesthetic and music is impeccable, and fits the game very well. i really enjoy the animal crossing theming! and while the lack of upgrades hurts the gameplay, the fishing mechanics themselves were fun enough to keep me going for quite a while! you did a great job :D
This was a really cute game. I liked the simple design. I thought the fishing game was great! I'd really like to know how you made it.
I had to crank my speakers all the way up and could still barely hear the music. I also could not figure out how to make money to buy anything. I wanted to get farther because it seemed really neat!
Really impressive work for a game jam. Looks like you put a lot of effort into it. Wish I could have gotten farther.
The art, visual filter and the music used made this feel so nostalgic somehow. The reaction ponchi had to the moped was exactly what was going through my mind and i immediately went off to get enough money to get it. 10/10 would fish all day again. Thank you for this game!
The fishing mini-game is great! I really like the curved world and environment. The day-night cycle looks really good. Maybe too much grass for browser. Can you only fish up one ship part per day or some limit like that?
theres different parts in each part of the world, i wrote it in the description but i probably should have made it clearer in game, but theres different pieces in the North South West East part of the island, and then in the Fountain and Lake, same with different fish too :), I wish I had more time to make interesting landmarks to fish next to but I overscoped too hard and the curved world gave me a new problem every single day haha
I really like this unique twist on the classic fishing mini-game! I think I might like it even more than stardew's fishing! I wish the music had looped in the web version (I figured out in my game that you have to change audio stream options in project settings to get it to loop in web builds). Maybe the difficulty of the fishing could have ramped up more as you caught more fish? It was pretty easy but I see the vision.
Too bad about the shop getting bugged but I hope you keep working on this or use it to inspire future projects.
Really awesome work!
Cute and charming! Unfortunately I didn't seem to be able to buy anything from the store? Not sure if that was a bug or I just wasn't getting something
I really liked the visuals and the fishing minigame was super fun too :)
I think adding some little tutorial prompts for controls would be good if you ever decide to update/work on it more! I got pretty confused trying to press space or enter for interact and finding the fishing key
The graphics are really impressing for a jam game, and the QTE thing you added for the fishing minigame is really cool too!
I really love the graphics and atmosphere! Such a cool cozy aesthetics. Is the fishing only minigame that's inside?
A bit laggy in browser but not a big deal. It gives me big short hike vibes and I would really like to play it again if it ever becomes full short polished game. Great job!
I have a soft spot for fishing mini games and I love that all the pre-jam fishing discussion in the discord prompted some people to add fishing.
Very relaxing just to sit back and fish, I'm guessing from what I experienced and the other comments is that the store doesn't work as I was never able to buy anything.
The game runs a bit spotty on browser as well, a lot of stuttering. downloading it made the experience a bit smoother but there were still some small hitches.
Over all a cool submission, nice work.
