FLIP CHICK!
Really fun game. The coin flipping did seem kind of pointless if you can do it infinitely. There would be a lot of strategy if it was limited. Other than that it was super fun and unique style
Really cool idea with the coins for actions
Took me a bit to grasp it at first, but the concept is very lovely!
Love it. Nothing to add. Well done
This is such an original concept, took me a while to get the hang of it but loved flipping the coins and abusing that mecanic, this was really fresh, and also the art style was top notch, well done!
great visuals and interisting idea but shaking window getting gets annoying afret a short time
It’s a well-polished game. The sound and visuals are great. Gameplay-wise, I’m not sure how flipping coins by dragging the window adds to the experience—maybe simple buttons would have been enough. Either way, I really enjoyed playing the game. Thanks!
I love the visual style and the audio, everything feels very cohesive and polished. I also really like that the whole game plays inside small windows; it’s not necessarily useful, but it’s a fun and charming idea. The addition of power-ups is great, and I think there’s real potential in this concept.
My only small downside is that rotating pieces by moving the window feels a bit frustrating and doesn’t add much to the gameplay in my opinion.
Overall, a really nice experience with a cool core mechanic!
That's interesting coin mechanic, could become tedious in long run, but perfect for jam game. Unfortunately couldn't test other coins except first two because I always lacked that 3 hp, but maybe I just didn't crack good tactic to avoid damage. 2x damage ring kicks ass tho. Visuals felt great too.
Cute game. Awesome animations and art but I think the coin flipping mechanic was pretty annoying (as others have said) and I was a little confused on how the game works. I think the upgrades were interesting and I can definitely see the potential for this idea in future. Good job!
Nicely balanced fights and amazing start and end animations!
Very fun game, but like most people have already said, the coin mechanic is a neat novelty but becomes a chore later in the game. As a jam game, the balancing is obviously insane, and the shield coin trivializes the boss fight. Really fun game overall, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time.
Liked the game very much, and the coin flip mechanic. But it becomes tiring after a while. I would love an auto reflip or a toss button though.
Another cool and unusual roguelike!
This was a really strong submission. Lovely polish throughout. My main critiques are that after a while, flipping the coins felt a bit tedious re-rolling, and it was easy once I figure out how the game worked. Lots of potential for depth I'm sure though.
Really great work overall! Gameplay felt really fresh and fun, but I do wish there were more obstacles for the players to face beyond just enemies (maybe something that forces players to pick a coin's action without being able to flip it to a desirable result)
That sounds really nice, I think we will add this
The intro and ending cutscenes are so good and alone worth the game. Love the aesthethics and the animations in game as well!
The 3d flipping mechanic was janky in a good way.
The game is maybe a bit too short for the coin-deck building mechanics and the upgrades to be meaningful. Really fun game nevertheless.
I loved the turn based combat and multiple windows elements. I'm not really sure why it is chickens but I dig it. I would love to see this game developed further and do some really interesting mechanic with the coin toss gimmick.
Very innovative combat mechanic with coin toss by dragging. Great polish & art as well. However, I felt with the current balance the game was easy to finish. Here's me fighting the boss xD
