Excellent game! This worked really smoothly and was an interesting resource management game. I loved the little dinos and building a massive dino army was so satisfying! I would love to play additional levels with more challenges. Great job! :)

Thank you for playing :)

Wow the game is much more involved than it seem at first! It sort of an hybrid between clicker and exploration.

Few things that could be improved - skip tutorial (although it was very good and written very well), and I had the issue twice where I misclicked on a rock and it's basically game over if you don't have enough blue creatures - maybe at least give the option to restart

Off course sounds and more variery can help, but the game was surprisingly fun and can be a good base to an expanded game - well done!

Developer

Hey Thanks for playing! I do like the skip tutorial advice, I realize now it might be a pain if you need to restart, especially if you run out of buddies during the main run and want to restart (also good suggestion).

I enjoyed the game, collecting and stacking creatures is pretty addictive.

Adding some kind of roguelike, could give it even more depth over time.
A little extra visual polish could make it shine even more.
Good job for a solo dev!
I’d love to hear your thoughts on our game as well if you get the chance.

Developer(+1)

Hey thanks for playing! A roguelike would make it more interesting, that definitely gives me some ideas! Your game was very fun! I was an earlier reviewer haha, but I definitely found myself going back to it again!

Did not expect to enjoy sending little goobers to do my dirty work as much as I did. It's super simple, click, send them off, get resources, make more, but it hooks you. And then you getting repo'd anyways at the end? That actually made me laugh. Brutal. Real fun game that could be addicting if expanded, I bet the audio for it would be super fun.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! One day I'll have to expand and audio would def be the first thing I work on haha

Submitted(+1)

It's very addictive but like really ! On the other hand visuals and juice aren't very good and there is no audio :c. Anyway really good concept !

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'll need to find some more time next time to make the audio, I'm not amazing artistically but this jam I was really wanting everything to be made by me from scratch and I did not have the time to get to it :P

Really fun game, I like the funny premise and the simple art. Seems like a great game just to relax and have some fun with

This was so much fun! I really enjoyed playing this. I ended up getting a nice army the second time around and that was exciting. The monster was really quick lol I couldn't shake him the first time cause I only had like 2 goobers lol lots of fun!

Thanks for playing! :)

Really, really cute game, although the art was simple it was very cute :)

Developer

Thank you and thanks for playing! Your fish were pretty cute too!

Well done on adding the tutorial! The gameplay is simple and very fun. I'd suggest making the borders clearer and maybe zooming out the camera a bit. Nice work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Also thanks for the advice, I definitely need to show the borders somehow, it's a bit easy to get lost!

Submitted(+1)

id suggest just a bunch of rocks would be easiest, and I feel like it'd go with your environment

Developer(+1)

that's a good idea! could probably add it to my tilemap too

MY ARMY OF GOOOBERRRSSS!!! i dont have enough time to finish it but really fun and silly creatures!

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing :)

A bizarre game, I liked it! Definitely strange.

I found the camera control a bit odd, directly following the player. I didn't realise I was even moving at the start until I saw the plant moving towards me.

It was hard to complete, but I enjoyed it and played it to the end. It was nice to have some story and an ending.

Developer

Ya, in subsequent playthroughs I'm noticing it's hard to see where the player is! Next time I'll need to change the camera and maybe add ways to know where the borders are!  I'm glad you enjoyed it, thank you for playing! :)

I had a hard time figuring that I can use the mouse click but after that I had a good time.
Nice one, a small walking animation could be nice also to add
And of course always nice to see another game on Godot we also did ours on Godot

Developer

Ya I definitely needed to show more information on the clicking, I had an idea to change the mouse at least but I hadn't gotten to that.  Thank you for the advice and thank you very much for playing :)

Loved this one, the writing had me laughing on multiple occasions and I got really into growing my goober collection by the end. The ending scene is also really cute :D I did have a little bit of a hard time reading the text with the white on green background, but it wasn't too much trouble as a whole. Great work!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you liked the writing haha, I'll need to spend more time testing the colors on the font, I'm thinking black would have been better now, thank you for your advice :)

MY GOOBERS YEARN FOR THE CAVES!!

I couldn't get past 141/150 goobers.... so close...

Your tutorial writing is hilarious, and even though I have no idea what the hell a goober is I NEED MORE. The loop of send lil guys to get stuff that lets you get more lil guys and more stuff is super satisfying!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed :) they yearn for mica and clover as well
