most sound effects and all songs were gotten from pixabay, and an asset pack was used for some assets in the living room, the rest was made by me.

Wow, this is really well made! Pretty heart-warming too! I loved every aspect of the game. Loads of attention to detail, gameplay is surprisingly cute and cosy, and it captures the childlike joy super well! I wish I could have a childhood like that too, but I digress. Overall, this is a game that I enjoyed dearly. Very polished, professionally made. Well done!

Super well done! Extremely polished for a game jam. Art style was amazing and the story was sweet. Also the idea for the shadow under the player was very smart, that way the player can see exactly where they will fall into the lava if they do not move quickly. Great job!

very adorable game with some nice platforming. I will say 15 seconds of unskippable opening credits is very bold. But the characters are cute and I love the artwork

What a cute and fun game! I love how you can interact with pretty much everything. The pixel art looks really good, the story is amazing and the audio fits really well. The concept of tag combined with the floor is lava and a pillow fort is so fun. Good job!
This was super clean and polished. The pixel art is honestly top-notch. Everything felt cohesive, and I loved how almost everything was interactable and gave you dialogue. That adds so much charm.
The music was beautiful too. It really carried the tone and made the whole experience feel warm and nostalgic. The story was wholesome, but still really engaging. I definitely had a few genuine laughs.
The lava mechanic was amazing. Such a simple childhood concept, but the way you executed it was clever and fun. It’s one of those mechanics that instantly clicks.
Honestly, this didn’t feel like a jam game at all. It felt way bigger and more complete than a week's project. And of course… 1984, lol.

This was beautiful! As someone who is starting to get into pixel art now, this was very inspiring to see. You created an awesome little world :) I loved some moments like when the kid is dragging himself across the fort, or the animations/sounds of the sibling falling from the chair and the plushies also falling from the chair...
the gameplay is simple yet challenging, allowing the player to just really immerse in the world and enjoy the moment. Overall an amazing entry, great job!

This was amazing, I really liked how even if the gameplay was a little repetitive, you always had a funny cutscene to watch as a reward, and the game never overstayed it's wellcome, this was really well polished for the time we had, as I would have thought this took a month to make otherwise. Great job!
