Story and atmosphere were cool, wish there were some mini games or something to break it up a bit but other than it was brilliant!

You definitely need to make this into a full release on steam, way too good to be playing this for free!

Most fun I've had on a game in this game jam, well done!

Cool game but was a bit confused, shouldn't have trusted the red card colleague!

Neat game! Love the world and environment, but I had infinite lives (not sure if that's a bug) so it made it very easy and being noticed not really matter. Overall it was still a lot of fun to play, the design of the Jester is really cool!

Honestly this game is cool but it moves too slow for what (I believe) your going for. I think it would help if you gave other similar games (Quake, Blood Thief, Ultrakill, etc) a look to see how they deal with the high-octane gameplay, but essentially I think a pass of 1) increasing speed for almost everything and 2) lowering the health of enemies would make it flow really well. Otherwise I think you did an amazing job, the visuals look really cool and the animations are solid!

Really makes you think making it perfectly fit with the theme, though something that does take me out of it a bit is the  inconsistency of the art style between the overworld and the dialogue, but they both look good individually!

I was a bit confused on what I actually needed to do and it could've used some more polish, but honestly I really like the story and the general direction of the game. Nice work!

Very challenging! Was a pleasure to play and the art style was awesome, one thing is that I wish there was a bit more to the minigames than just clicking on the beat, maybe the patterns could switch up more or maybe you could add some sort of rpg elements like Undertale.

Cool game that fit the theme perfectly, but I felt it went on for a bit too long. By the 6th time of scrolling back and forth on the map it gets  a bit dull. I think if there was more to the binoculars section it would fix that, like maybe you could have the player avoid being caught spying? Besides that I really liked the mystery solving aspect,  it was fun!

I am not sure if this was just me but the game window didn't take up the full screen, just most of it on the top left. Anyways I think it would've benefited from a  more gradual difficulty curve and the timer being more strict, but still was a lot of fun!

Funny enough Hotline Miami was a huge influence for this game! For the camera, that was my goal to make it so that it was more difficult to avoid enemies but I do see how it's more frustrating than anything else. Thanks for the feedback!

Very fun to play and love the style, but the enemies are way too powerful for what the player is given

The game had great visuals really love the style

Thanks! I've been playing your game too and it's pretty fun

Pretty cool, but next time a gameplay tutorial rather than a notebook on how it works would be a lot better to teach the player on how it works. Still it was seriously fun!

Very cool idea but it's a bit confusing, and the combat isn't really fun

One thing to mention is that the CRT effect seems to not fully cover the screen when in full screen, I'd suggest to play in the aspect ratio on the page.

this has a couple of bugs that the crazy games version doesn't have, but both screw up when it comes to the stat logs. when the jam is all set and done I think I might revisit this just for my own sanity to fix some minor issues, but definitely should've spent less time on the animations and more time on some bug fixes. Oh well, you live and you learn.

EDIT: this is now the most recent version of the project, till some bugs

Je sais que les votes sont terminés, mais je voulais vous informer que Godot rencontre des problèmes avec les jeux 3D sur le web. Je m'excuse d'avance pour le lag potential que vous pourriez rencontrer en jouant et j'espère que c'est amusant!

I am not sure why but for some reason on the web version the CRT effect and the flashing is twice as intense, if you are at risk of epileptic seizures please refrain from playing this game.

Kinda buggy but it has a lot of charm!

I am not exaggerating when I say this is the most fun game I have played so far in this jam! Loved it

I had a huge amount of fun playing this game! But one thing I found made the experience slow down a bit after playing it for a bit is that (as far as I understand) there's no difficulty curve. It never really gets harder, I can spam the play button without using any of the special chips and go on forever.  Besides that though it was a great experience, loved it!

Glad you enjoyed it! it’s always frustrating finding bugs after the jam, like I want to so bad go back and fix little stuff like the spawning in a light!

Thank you! I don’t think they’d be strong enough for epilepsy but yeah unless you reload the game entirely it can have some issues resetting the scene

If you die the game might be a bit messed up, best to restart your browser to  be safe! Also if you want a more challenging experience, don't take the blue and red ability!

This game uses music by Adam Haynes and Bardify, as well as sound effects from Pixabay.com

I keep getting the same errors no matter what I upload about me needing to slow down on uploads, but I have barely been uploading at all. I have tried it on several accounts and several files and nothing is working, anybody else having this issue?

Really cool idea but the path finding is a bit weird especially with it teleporting around, and some lighting would really improve the vibe, but I still loved it!

glad you liked it, and if I was the wizard I'd also be mad if someone was touching my stuff!

Very fun game,  all the animations' give escapists vibes, loved it!

Thank you, and I just want to say how much fun I had with your game too! love the idea of trying to translate languages, me and my brother just sat in front of my computer for like an hour just trying our best to decipher everything

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! Yeah I've seen a couple of games that share this core mechanic, which isn't a surprise but still funny we chose such similar abilities! I really like your game, it's definitely a very fun experience and the levels are well designed, I think where we differ is I made it more based on the skills you learn while playing rather then your problem solving skills. I think games are more fun when they kinda embrace that chaos instead of focusing on the linearity of puzzles, more freedom in the choices you make sorta thing. Just my opinion though, like I said had a lot of fun playing Planar Shift!

Very cool visuals but after the first page is it? I am not sure if I really get it but it was a fun experience

It looks very interesting and your concept seems cool but I honestly just wasn't able to figure out how any of it worked

Really cool but since you get to pick the last note you can kinda go on forever really easily spamming one single key

Very strange but very interesting, this is the first game in the jam that genuinely surprised me!

JEFFF WAAKE UP

1 more thing, while bug testing level 18 before submitting I forgot to return your character to the main area so you get to kinda skip the level sadly. So if you were confused at that level why it was so easy, just remember that you missed out on the greatest video game level of all time
