How does the game fit the theme?
The more an enemy trusts you, the less likely they are to attack you. The same logic applies to determine if an enemy will target another enemy. The player can gain and lose trust in various ways, and alter these parameters by upgrading and buying items.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Interesting! Very creative concept, and great visuals. Good job!
The visuals were awesome and the music/sfx chosen fit quite well. Gameplay was pretty straightforward and easy to understand after the first round. Other than the soft-locking issue which is seems to be well-known, I had no problems!
This game was super fun, the concept is very fun to explore, would love to see this expanded into a bigger game someday. I did 2 runs but unfortunately got softlocked in the second one, still had a lot of fun with it tho!
I really loved the game, rougelites aare something i can really get addicted to lol as i also made a rougelite. I had a problem where i was kind of softlocked tho, I couldn't get any new bullets and the enemy won't attack me. Really great game tho!!
Really nice visual style on the player & enemies! I think the game loop is solid. I found the game to be a bit easy, but it was still fun. I saw someone else mention it but I also wish that if an enemy and I trust each other and we're the only ones left, the battle should end. However, I see how the theme fits when I am forced to attack/kill the enemy that just trusted me. Lastly, I enjoyed seeing how a crowded field of enemies turned on each other and ignored me during rounds I only negotiated in.
Awesome! Looks great, plays great, and gets super fun when the field is packed with opponents. It took me a bit to get it, but then it REALLY clicked :D Negotiations, negotiations, and more negotiations!
this looked really nice and also the sound design was fitting. Sadly I got stuck on round 6 with no ammo and no idea how to progress further. Cool setting and style anyway.
Good and sylish western. Keep going
Damn, that's pretty cool !
The overall concept, the visuals, the sound, it's super cohesive and clean ! (and i'm a pixel art fan, so...)
Feel free to test our game ! :)
Peak game, had a lot of fun with it :D
Really like the look and vibe! I think I only got hit once so it wasn't really difficult to win the encounters, but it felt like deciding who to ally yourself with mattered.
One thing I encountered was that the text in the negotiation phase sometimes would become unreadable. First I thought that was to show that I couldn't interact with the enemy anymore but that wasn't the case. I'm being nit-picky but I would have loved to have a visual marker that when offering the alliance fails, I cannot interact with that enemy anymore. The menu just not working took me out for the first time and I thought the game crashed.
Thanks for playing the game! I learned that the CRT shader the game uses sometimes distorts the text in a way that makes it unreadable. Thanks for pointing it out.
Great visuals (though at least one more enemy to look / shoot at would be nice)! Always suprised when someone fits a roguelike into a game jam.
That being said, I didn't really get the "trust" and "alliance" part: If I ally with the only remaining enemy (i.e. at 100% trust), why doesn't combat end, why do I still have to shoot it? I ended up just skipping to the fighting phase and killing every enemy xD
Really cool idea with just talking to enemies before the shooting starts. Adds an intresting layer of gameplay to it lol
I love the idea of trust with enemies - I feel like video game enemies are often too simplistic. In real life, no one wants to lose resources by fighting unnecessarily. I didn't get to play the game, though, because it kept force reloading my window. I'm on MacOS, if it helps.
Hm I just tested it on mac os and it seems to work fine. Thanks for the interest at least!
Was very cool but it was a bit too easy and repetitive, I struggled to actually lose. Also it would've been cool to be able to add enemies to your team, however it was still fun, just could've use some balance fixes!
Thank you for playing and I agree it definitely needs more balance. Since I couldn't perfectly balance it in time, I decided to prioritize fun instead. I figured becoming overpowered would be more fun.
Very addictive, i love the twist on "trust no one" i love it alot and the graphics fit well and i had alot of fun, great job!

This game is very fun to play and it's also very satisfying. But I also feel bad for killing the guys that I get to fully trust me lol. Great job!
Trust no one, not even the player >:)
Fantastic Twist on the game jams theme 5/5 stars for theme n innovation!
