Wow! I was not expecting this! reminded me of West of Loathing.
The art is great! Please don´t change it. The playful and unexpected menu and the trick on settings! Very clever way to keep surprising the player on every try.

How does the game fit the theme?
The game explores “Trust No One” through the player’s expectations of the game itself
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Minor reuse of my own pre-existing utility code
How many people worked on the game?1

This is a really interesting spin on these deceptive type games in this jam so far. The way you turned the idea of the game working against you into something that feels like a puzzle makes things interesting and fun as you go through each run playing around with all the elements on the screen, trying to find out which one can lead you to the end of the game. Good job!
Solid entry. I really liked the creative puzzles and feel like these types of games have been underrepresented this jam. I was only able to get one ending though. This was also the first game I've played where I could both kill the player and fullscreen the browser with one key XD. Great job!
Really cool game! Artstyle is really nice, and I like your interpretation of the theme! After lots of trial and error, I got three endings, still not sure if that's all though, might as well be three more XD
Very much enjoyed playing this one! Keep it up :D
I guess I'm just too naive and end up trusting the screen too much, haha.
Anyway, I just wanted to congratulate you. You took the "Trust no One" concept in a really out-of-the-box direction.
Great work.
Very clever concept, but I am not sure whether I actually won or not lol
Its fun but annoying after we die it loads back to the main screen
Highkey ragebait game. I have no clue whether i beat the game or lost the game LOL
Great concept and theme, I would complain about being confused but I think that is the point.
Clean art and one hell of an idea to play with the theme of the jam!
It's been ages since I played a stick figure game. Awesome point-and-click puzzle! But what is the actual ending? :D
Absolute Cinema what more can i say. Still not sure how to get an ending though ha ha. Maybe there just isn't an ending idk.
Or is there? Do endings exist? Does the GAME exist? It does, because I am looking at it, right now. But is it looking at me? Am I seeing things? Am I seeing anything or am I seeing nothing? Is the game nothing? Is the game real? Is the game Unreal? No it's made with unity. Or is it? Am I made with Unity or Unreal? I DONT KNOW WHAT TO TRUST ANYMORE
A very clever game! Well made although Im probably too gullable for this lol i killed that poor stick guy way to many time lol gg full marks <3
Very creative! Although i died every time. Not sure how to handle the pit. Anyway, good simple game. Good addition to the submissions. Glad to play it.
Great game, I only got to the loading screen because I'm not a rebel and I actually clicked any button every single time, but I'm sure the rest of the game is just as good ♥
And I knocked down the axe.
Well here's something you don't see everyday. It reminded me a lot of "Take something literally" by Benoit Freslon, one of my favorites flash games of all time. You've brought me back some really nice memories, thanks a bunch.
Got stuck like a scrub however. I've passed the pit, the spikes and the lasers, I've taken the axe, canceled the loading before the demon appeared and yet, here I am, still moving that "exit" around like a madman.
Great entry all around, Nice job. Wish I wasn't too braindead to see it to the end.
Really neat puzzle game with some very clever design, took me a while to figure out the gimmick with certain aspects. Using the credits to bridge the gap in the floorboards was very funny (though I initially didn't realize it was a gap and had no idea why my lil stick person kept falling over and dying). Definitely a lot of potential in this one.
Unique idea and such a simple, funny game! I was confused at first, but damn, what an amazing concept. The only downside was having to wait for everything to load again every time I failed.
Thank you so much! Im really glad the confusion paid off in the end :D
And yeah, having to wait again after every failed attempt is definitely the biggest gameplay frustration right now — if we ignore the tiny detail that I ran out of time to animate the characters or write even one simple bgm :D
I already added a skip button for the post-jam build <3
