SPOILERS:
That was AMAZING!!! The characters were beautifully drawn, the music fit perfectly, the lore was intriguing, and NOELLLL. If every killer was as adorable/pretty/perfect as Noel, I would be in trouble by now.
The main menu changes and ending titles are genius (good ending one legitimately made me sad), and I love how much nuance there is in the endings!!! Despite them being labelled as good or bad, it feels like there are elements of both in all of them, which is really interesting. My favourites were the second endings of both, since I love Noel (could you tell?).
The fact you managed to make this in a month is astonishing, congratulations! I've seen your other games and they are a delight to behold - you have earnt yourself a devoted follower!
(Also I need to mention that I saw your announcement about a GRQ101 sequel and a future game with an evil MC, and both sound incredible! Take your time though, ensure you hydrate and sleep.)
Thank you for making such a brilliant game, I love it beyond words.❤️
Great game with a nice artstyle, fitting music, cool gameplay & deduction techniques. I wasn't really sure how to progress after reaching the code sections (I couldn't find the answers of figure them out myself) to get into the laptop or safe, so I randomly guessed & got the bad ending. Apart from that (the answer might've been obvious & I missed it), very cool!❤️
Tried to play it; initially, it took a very long time to load, & after it did & I selected a level, after showing me a little comic (which I did like!), the audio continued playing but the screen was just black. Maybe I needed to have more patience (my laptop's fans were dying trying to load it, & I didn't want to break anything), but from what I saw, the music is great, the premise is fun, the artstyle is very pleasing, & the little comic strip was amusing.❤️
The premise of this game is great, & the infection itself has lovely animation & visual design. It is extremely difficult, however! I kept clicking when it was in the middle of the circle, which was apparently incorrect, & had to click while it was still on the edge. But only slightly. It's very precise, which I would adjust to allow for slower clicking/QOL. Apart from that, great game (the element of surprise shirt was amusing)!❤️
Cool game! I was a bit confused as to why I lost the first time (I never knew what the quota was, so couldn't try to reach it); I went back to see the intro again & couldn't find anything to do with the quota, so that was weird. Apart from that - very creepy characters & music to match, with a fun take on the theme! Congratulations!❤️
Very nice! There was one issue with the platforms where if you jumped but sort-of missed getting on top, if you held down "d" or whatever key you use for going right, you would just stick there, with no way of getting back up, & would have to die to be let out. That might be a hitbox problem, but I'm not the most skilled with this sort of thing so I'm not entirely sure. Apart from that, great music, eerie voiceover, & overall fun game!❤️
Cool game! I am too bad to achieve a proper ending (the first time I got killed by a wolf, the second time I had 10 health when I went to kill the crow & died instantly, the third time I got killed by the crow again), & I got lost a lot (the map might be a bit large, or maybe you intended for that to happen!), but the setup is nice, the artstyle is pleasing, & it stuck to the theme really well.❤️
Thank you! I did want to keep the mystery alive to some degree (even if I had longer to make it) because it's more fun that way (the players get to decide whether Axell's guilty or not), & all of the endings do end with an error code. You might be able to piece together more of the story with more endings though, if you want some of the mystery removed!❤️
I did try to make a character limit, but I don't know if a) it works at all, or b) if the web version changes some stuff (the text box for your name looks different to the downloaded version I think?). Anyway - thank you for your feedback, I'm very glad you enjoyed, & I'm happy you appreciate having Jon Arbuckle as a father figure (had to look up who he was but I do agree he looks similar!)!❤️
This was amazing, I loved everything about it!!! The only thing I struggled with a bit was how to fight - I didn't know that you had to click on the "A" when your attack was near the person, & so I just kept hitting the "Attack" button & wondering why I was missing. Beautiful artwork, lovely sound design, & overall, a very fun game!❤️
