How does the game fit the theme?
The greenhouse starts out cozy and heartwarming, but in a David Lynch–ish fashion, grows progressively stranger and darker as the game unfolds. Is the greenhouse even real?
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Everything was prepared for the game jam, except for music & sfx that we borrowed from a previous game.

Wow. What a sad story 😭. I really enjoyed the game. It turned out wonderfully. I'm surprised you achieved this result in such a short time. Congratulations.
Really beautiful game! Gameplay is quite relaxing, though I suppose it could use some more variety, but I suppose that might be just my personal taste. Good work!
this is an interesting example of show not tell using puzzles. the hand-drawn art of the entire game is the highlight. although it is kind of easy to lose pieces both in and outside the screen, behind this game portrays an amazing story that arises questions which links to the theme!
This was amazinggg, portraying a story through silly puzzles was a very clever move, and is one of the games in the jam that I'd love to see a full release of :3
Really pretty game!I liked the pressed flower puzzles - they were relaxing and satisfying to solve. I got as far as the note to solve but lost a couple of the pieces off the page so I couldn't complete it.
Extremely beautiful game, really melancholy but gorgeous visuals. I really liked the strange vibe in the otherwise serene setting and a really sad storyline! Only tiny tiny weeny gripe was the picking up sound effect got slightly annoying as it's a bit loud and repetitive.
I don't usually spend much time playing game jam entries. Part of it is that game jam games tend to be a rather small scale, and part of it is that they're usually designed at a fast pace so players can breeze through and move on.
But this game is a completely different story. This is a piece of art that makes you want to put everything down and just, i'll say, be present with it. Though there are some repetitive levels, the story and visuals are so captivating that you happily push through every puzzle just to see what happens next. I got stuck on the three flowerpot word puzzle at first, but then I figured out you could just linear search your way to the answer (which is a super friendly design for dummy heads like me).
I went in expecting a heartwarming story, but the moment I spelled out the word "Delusion," I knew something was off... All I can say is, this is a truly wonderful game. Great job!
Such a nice game! Love the art style and storytelling. Would love to see how the story continues. Great job : )
Oh my god, so poignant! What an ending. And I really loved the glass puzzle reveal.
I had small issue in the journals figuring out which flowers were already set and which ones still needed to be set.
I really appreciated this unique water color painting! Also found it very cozy, liked to connect the flowers like they were a broken vase. Great game ;)
Loved the game! It was very pretty and fun to uncover the story! The puzzles were simple but calming. I really liked the art and the music!
This was very pretty. The hand-drawn watercolor style really stands out, and you can tell a lot of care went into the art.
I liked the transitions as the story moved forward. The way the environment shifts and reflects what’s happening adds a lot to the atmosphere. It makes everything feel connected instead of just moving from one puzzle to the next.
The puzzles themselves were satisfying, too. Clicking things into place had that nice "this feels right" moment when everything lines up.
Really beautiful entry overall. Great job on this one.
I really enjoyed this! This has such wide appeal. I admit I didn't know what to do with the dried flower book at first, but figured it out once I moved the flowers off the page. I like that kind of realized gameplay.
Loved the art, music and the narrative design. I sent it to my mom and she loved it too.
I will say, I thought the first dried flower book was maybe a bit too many flowers. It took me a while to do, and it stressed me out a little bit. Then later, mechanically, I was expecting the paper puzzle pieces to click together, but they only seem to click to the correct spots. So that threw me off a little bit.
The second flower book (or leaves, i guess) I realized the strategy was to just move all the leaves off to side so I could properly see what I was doing. That helped, at least.
