Cool game The visuals look good <3

Cool game! The visuals look great, and the gameplay is fun. A small suggestion, maybe include a specific unit upgrade as one of the choices once that unit becomes available to produce. It's just a small inconvenience, though. Great work overall!

Submitted(+1)

The concept of tower defense immediately grabbed me! The graphics feel simple but fit well with the environment, and the tutorial is really helpful! Great game!

Fun entry for the jam! Highly recommend

Developer

Hey ! Thank you so much ! 💚💚

I like the GIF on your play screen!

This game is surprisingly well put together for a week.  The art is nice and the gameplay seems well balanced on a loop from run to run.  I like autobattlers like this- Desert Strike from SC2 custom maps comes to mind.

I didn't hear any music- there was audio but I feel like this game would benefit from auditory juice on the combat to make it crunchier.

I would like the buildings to be put on hotkeys so I could rapidly place buildings from muscle memory after I memorize the hotkeys after a few runs.

Nice game

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback, we really appreciate it!

That’s interesting about the music, there is background music in the game, so this is the first time we’ve received that comment.
Just to help us understand, did you play the web version or the downloadable build?

And yes, we completely agree about the hotkeys, that’s something we’re planning to improve in a more polished version.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts!

Web version

Such a well-polished gameplay and visuals! Amazing level of depth and replayability. Great work guys!

Developer

Thanks for the kind words, it means a lot to us! 💚

Submitted(+1)

Wow insane what y'all were able to pull off here. Very well polished for a game jam game, and it's even more impressive knowing that you barely used any assets! Extremely good job. Game was pretty fun too! Simple RTS but with great sound effects, music, visuals, and a surprising amount of depth for a game jam. It feels pretty balanced too! Really good stuff.

Developer

Thank you so much, we really appreciate it! 💚

PEAK.. This is the most I've ever played a jam game.. reached 16 waves.. great design, can be made into a commercial title fosho, if you guys do it, I'll buy this game.. had tons of fun!! How many waves are there in total?

Developer(+1)

Commercial game incominnnggg, we have time, but this is a game we are talking about since a long time and we really want to make something with it.

There is unlimited waves but I think that today its impossible to go after 22, this is way to hard.

The next features incoming are going to be Coop and production chains/logistics

Submitted(+1)

That's some great news.. looking forward to the release.. will get some buddies to try the coop

Developer

Omg so cool I don't know how we are going to reach to you but yes waiting for that !

Submitted(+2)

Very cool!  The 3D models, music, and sfx are all really cool. It really works together to create this cool atmosphere on a strange world.

I did struggle a lot.  I always die at the first boss wave and I'm not sure what to do about it.  I can't seem to build any of the new buildings I buy.  I can only max out on the tutorial defenders and they don't seem to be enough to beat the boss.  Maybe I'm just bad lol.

I think I would also like to strategize more over the placement / positioning of the buildings.  Maybe that happens if I get further in the game but in the first few waves I couldn't tell if it mattered where exactly I placed the buildings.

Nonetheless your hard work really shows so well done!

Developer

Thank youuuu, yes in the beginning its a bit hard to pass the first boss if you don't have the good upgradees.

But you can also get upgrades inside the GearShop to help you

The combination of tower defence and factory is quite interesting! I believe there is a great potential behind this hybrid genre, expecting you could keep exploring and expanding on it!

For the factory part, I believe some great game of the genre can inspire you a lot; it should not be just about resource producing, but also about detailed pipeline arrangement and planing. There are just so much possible to play in this part.

The output of the factory would be directly used in the tower defence part, which creates a tense core-loop of the game. However, I do find the strategy should be much deeper; now, it's just about building more and more units producer, which is more like incremental but not strategy.

Overall, quite potential a combination! Expecting a polished version of it!

Developer

You totally have the mood.
The goal is to create real production chains, a bit like if you are playing ANNO but with a TowerDefense.

The next enhancement are going to be coop and production chains/logistics.

Submitted(+1)

Very interesting and in depth game! I'm impressed you were able to produce this in 7 days!

Developer

Thanks a lot for giving a try!

Submitted(+1)

Such a fun game! I really loved the attention to detail. Great job!

Developer

Thank you ! 💚

WOAH! I think this was prob the best tower defense game I played in a while, I wouldn't think it would be on a game jam submission page LMAO!

The amount of depth here is kind of crazy for one week. The mix of tower defense and resource management works really well, and the roguelite upgrades on top make every run feel meaningful. Unlocking new buildings and units through choices keeps things interesting, and the permanent upgrades between runs actually make you feel like you’re progressing instead of just restarting from scratch.

Everything feels polished too. The visuals are clean, the sci-fi vibe is strong, animations are smooth, and the sound effects when placing buildings are super satisfying. The tutorial was clear and didn’t overload me, which is impressive for a game with this many systems.

If I had to point out improvements, I’d say the difficulty spikes pretty hard after the first boss, and sometimes it feels like progression depends a bit too much on getting lucky with upgrades. Unlocking units that you can’t actually use yet because the required resource is locked can feel frustrating. Also, rewards could maybe be spread out a bit more so it doesn’t feel feast-or-famine early on.

But overall, this is seriously impressive for a jam game. With some balance tweaks and expansion, I could easily see this becoming a full release. Great job.

ALSO, if you like brain-teasing puzzle paltformers with cool mechanics, make sure to check out our game!!!

Developer

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a detailed comment, we really appreciate it.
We’re very happy the game resonated with you.
And yes, balancing is definitely something we’re still working on. It was one of the biggest challenges during the jam, especially with the complexity of the systems we built.
We’re clearly aiming for a more polished version (and hopefully a full release) down the line.
I’ll also make sure to check out your game soon!

I love tower defense games:) Can't believe you guys made it on one week! The game has lots of things to take in at once, everything feels polished from the gameplay to all the sounds and the mechanics involved. Great job on the submission guys!

Developer(+1)

Thanks❕💚
We’re really happy you liked it.

A fantastic and highly strategic experience. I love the concept of blending Tower Defense with Resource Management—the two genres complement each other perfectly. The visuals are sharp, the audio is immersive, and the gameplay loop is incredibly satisfying. A very enjoyable title for fans of strategy games!

Developer(+1)

Appreciate it! 💚
Glad you enjoyed the overall experience.

This is great! I love strategy games. Doing this in a week on Godot, you guys are awesome! I liked the decision to add the rouglite upgrade selection elements. I haven't played any game from this JAM for this long :)

However, it didn't open in the browser, and I don't know why.

Developer

Heyy, thank you we really appreciate this !

Which browser are you using ?

Submitted

It's not common in your country, so it's not a problem :) Yandex Browser

Submitted(+1)

I tried it again and it opened, I think there was a problem with the internet

Developer

Oh nice then, I hoped you liked it

Submitted(+1)

I really liked it :) I hope you finish it and release it on Steam :)

Big work for a jam, I must say. I'm a big fan of economy optimization games, and although I liked the concept and what you've made for this jam, there's some space for improvement here. I want to give you some feedback on this.

What I like:

- Really cool sci-fi minimalistic vibe, reminds me of Tron

- I really enjoyed the route you took with the hybrid resource management/tower defense game

- The soundscape and feedback effects are really satisfying.

What I would improve:

- In my multiple runs, I often found myself unlocking units but never using them because the resource needed was locked behind a reward for defeating a boss. It's frustrating to "waste" a cool upgrade on something that you never use. I suggest making units available only after the player unlocked the required resource, for example

- The rewards are too scarce for my taste. I would like more spread-out rewards, maybe of different tiers and power levels

-What I wrote adds up to the spiking difficulty that makes it too hard to progress after the first boss unless you're insanely lucky with the pulls.

In any case, you did a huge amount of work for a jam, and these types of games require a lot of balancing to perform well, so I'm positively surprised by this game, and I hope youkeep working on it. Great work!

PS: There's a typo in the tutorial where you call the game "THIS IS OUR PLACE" instead of "THIS PLACE IS OURS"

Developer(+1)

First, thank you for taking the time, and giving us a very good feedback list !

This idea of the towerdefense/ecogame is an idea that I had 6 years ago, we already did two games but never able to finish and rebooted all the time, so the JAM was the perfect place to restart the game, finish it at least once and really gather feedbacks.

We have some improvments in the pipe:
- Economic logistic for a real Anno like or city building feeling
- A real ending / levels with a permanent reward after each run
- Today you really need the gear shop unlocks to progress we need to fix that.
- Coop OMG
- For the upgrade it was a choice, like in THE KING IS WATCHING, but I think its not clear enought and so it create frustration, but this is also creating a memory for the USER a bit like, "OH the game fucked me", but I think you are right we create to much frustration today we need to balance that.
- Clear UI with what you already unlocked.

Thanks for the typo in the TUTO yes we need to fix that.

great tower defense game! well polished with clear tutorials. a good game!

Developer

Thank you !

Submitted(+2)

This place is theirs hahaha
I want to sink more time into this to get better but for now they keep beating me.
Great work, big fan of all the green glowy bits :)

Developer

Yes today, you really need to unlock things in the gear shop to progress

Very good tower defense/RTS game.  Although it doesn't seem to fit the theme very well, IMO.

Developer

Thanks the theme is more visual and unit based than gameplay but yes totally
