A funky creepy dungeon game. Great artwork you have got. It was fun platforming around facing the enemies. Great job! The music worked well too!
If you get time, can you please review our game? Thanks!
Neat game. I had some difficulties at the beginning, though I still managed to beat it. Good work!
Nice job! Art was very cool, and it was pretty fun!
*also I didn't realize that I can kill the enemies lol, I have been dodging them all the way until the end XD
this ending was suppose to show that he was absorbed by the corruption but saved the world from it. In my head it have sense because i created and planned it, but i see how for other people it can be confusing. thanks for feedback!
Awh yis. Living my best slime life! :D Very fun and cute. The dungeon indeed got very strange! The parkour was tricky but got there in the end. Great work!
Cool game, the art is super awesome and strange! And I liked fighting the enemies, it was satisfying attacking them as a little slime.
Yes
A fun little game! I liked. There are just not enough checkpoints in the game
Enjoyable platformer! I love the game feel and the art is quite nice. As others have already suggested I would say to mainly focus on adding player feedback such as a health bar to make it more clear but a nice short and sweet game.
The dungeon sure was strange! The platforming was pretty fun, the combat felt very defensive. I think including knockback or a small stun would provide the player with more options than just endlessly kiting. But overall really enjoyable, and awesome for your first game on itch :)
Like-wise we both made a creepy dungeon game, nice background art you got there. I was scared to die because the enemies are so fast at hitting you and you can get stuck at the wall not be able to jump over them lol. Plus there's no health indication that I noticed to tell how much health you have. But I enjoyed the platformer game, defeated the boss by the old school standing under a ceiling that is shorter than the boss heh, well done!
Yes i probably could make enemies attack system a little bit diffrent to be fair it was first time a was making a attack system for enemies. Thanks a lot for feedback! Also i noticed i should add a health bar a little bit too late. I guess i will improve in another game jams!
First of all, you finished a game that looks great overall — and achieving that in just 7 days is impressive. Great job!
Things I liked:
I really like the art style and the enemy concept designs. I would consider refining their behavior logic to encourage different player approaches, rather than relying on a repetitive “attack and retreat” pattern.
The environment design is strong, especially the pink level — it stands out visually.
The background music and visual effects fit well with the overall tone of the game.
Constructive Feedback:
The player character always faces right when idle. I would suggest making the character face the last direction of movement to improve visual consistency and game feel.
I would consider implementing a camera “dead zone” so the camera doesn’t constantly follow the player when they are near the center of the screen. This would likely improve the visual experience and overall smoothness.
Adding clearer HUD elements would improve player feedback. For example, I didn’t realize there was a health bar until I died. Making this information more visible would enhance clarity and usability.
Thanks for a feedback a lot, i notice after game jam ended that i probably should add a health bar. I will add it in future game jams!
Great platformer, love the art style!
Good platformer! I liked the pixel art as well. Good job 👍
Visuals
1 ... (main): add animations:
1.1 . (main): IDLE slime, slime moving,
1.2 . (main): simple camera movement
2 ... test screen 27inch -> very low px game with scaled up images looks bad on very big displays
3 ... BG trees at start are low detail vs other elements
4 ... I really loved this castle scene -> best way is just to ignore skeletons (their fail rate is 99% when you start to ignore them -> jump on head go to next room)
5 ... castle green text is hardly seen
6 ... slower shader fade screen transition animation
7 ... LV 3 (green one) vs castle has miss-matched art details (was it rushed?)
8 ... add OnMouseHover & OnClick direct user visual feedback
Design
1 ... slime on adventure
2 ... are slow enemy actions with low FPS intended?
3 ... no check point ;/
4 ... no hp bar is intended?
Controls
1 ... very responsive
Sound
1 ... good
2 ... very good on event effects
Bugs
1 ... (game): killing dead skeleton reset animation
I liked the game; it's difficult was good and great art
Short and sweet. Beautiful pixel work and really cool monsters and environments! platforming was pretty tight too. well done!
good start as your first game.
I love the design! This was fun to play.
