A really creative game. Though this was the first game I actually had to use an actual mouse, which is fine. Also, everything played surprisingly smoothly.

Developer(+1)

Glad it you enjoyed!

Gotta keep ur Mouse in shape :3

The levels are great, the platforming is fun, and the physics are good enough to make a grown man cry. I'm not the grown man in question, i was just referencing a movie.

Very fun. Very squishy.

Fred always seem to want to go to the left if I don't give any input, other that that solid game, enjoyed playing, might play more after the jam is over.

Developer

huh, odd. Dont really know what the cause would be, but thats just how working with softbodies is lol. I hope you enjoyed :D

Really great game! The physics remind me a lot of Gish, but this is a lot more responsive and a lot more snappy. The puzzles are fun, and the physics really lean into that chaotic feel. Amazing submission!

Developer

THANK YOU :D

I'm glad you liked the feel, I spent the majority of the jam working on it

Glad you enjoyed!

The swinging is really fun. A little glitchy I definitely glued myself to a ceiling with multiple strands and couldn't get rid of them. I also stuck the first box to myself and couldn't get it off. Hah but overall I really liked the game! It was fun!

Developer

Worth noting it is left shift to get rid of all strands, sorry it isnt properly explained. Glad you liked it tho :)

hahaha ohhhhh thanks I am going to try it again cause it was so fun. I knew there had to be something I was missing 😅

Developer

You're not the only one who missed it, I only put it on the page and forgot to put it in the actual game haha

I LOVE FRED!1 but it seems that Fred doesn’t love me 🥺😔

Because I find it really difficult to use the multiple grabbing mechanic with the Middle Click. IDK if it has something to do with my mouse, but I just don’t know how to get rid of the grips. Is isn’t really explained.. The only method I found was getting really close to the point where I had grabbed, but I got stuck on the four levers part of Level 2.

Also the build is very unstable. Probably because of the Development Build thing, but it even got to crash my darn PC!!! Thank god I managed to disable the fancy graphics somehow, because then my game would go at like 0.01 FPS lmao.

BUT! I must admit the music was pretty groovy and Fred is just, so, so cute. I cannot imagine how hard it should have been to make the softbody for it. Despite everything, it looks like you definitely put in a lot of hard work, so congrats on making the game! Great Job :D

Developer

I do have to say that LeftShift gets rid of all grapples, hopefully you can play again trying with that but if not I'm still glad you enjoyed it. But yea the dev build is terrible rip

Got it play it again! I couldn’t do the final levels (8, 9 and 10) as I got issues with yeeting and the goo, but I at least now was able to finish the majority :)

Developer(+1)

The last few levels do get goofy lol, but glad you could come back and play! Sorry the controls weren't obvious but thanks for playing oli :)

Developer

I entirely understand its my fault for forgetting to mention it in game xP

joyous game. i loved how the movement felt and the learning curve of getting used to it, by the later levels i was zipping around like spider-man. my only real complaint is that it doesnt tell you what level you're currently on, so if you go to the menu and wanna resume, you have to kinda guess until you get back to the right level. i like the jingle when you beat a level though, well made music. fun puzzle platformer all around, i enjoyed it!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Oddly enough it never ever crossed my mind that I should say what level it is, but wow thats a simple solution. Glad you enjoyed the mechanics and music and thanks for playing :D

I wish some of the story stuff on the page was included in the game, but  it was great! The physics felt super satisfying, and Fred is a peak character.

Developer(+1)

Was going to have a little sideshow but ran out of time,  glad you liked the game :D

Cool game, got a little laggy at times but I still had a blast

Developer

Glad you liked it!

Sorry the graphics settings broke last second, entirely on me for that

Hope you had fun :D

Submitted(+1)

Artwork is really pretty! I also am personally a big fan of grapple mechanics in any platformer, so that got a huge boost from me! My only complaint was that I experienced a good bit of lag. Good work!

Developer

Yea sorry, the performance optimizations i made all got broken with the last second submittion. Thanks for playing anyways :)

Submitted

pretty sure the lower graphics settings just dosnt work

Developer

yea sorry,  it broke in the last build :(

Pretty fun game , i like how the movement feels. For some reason , I couldnt pass level 2 , as in , the lever would never get pressed no matter what i did to it - at one point i got it out of its base trying to pull it down with weight.

Developer

Bummer, (i assure you it is possible) but it seems to be really inconsistent, if you havent already go to the level select and just skip it. The levers are made entirely with spring joints and I'll admit my system for detection is inconsistent. Some of the Levers need to go down further than others and I did a pretty bad job at consistency. Hope the game was fun other than that. Thanks for playing :)

I thought you made a nice variety of mechanics, I found the visuals to be really nice too, it felt a little bit difficult at times but I still enjoyed it! Good Job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! The scaling of difficulty between levels needs work but I'm glad you liked it :)

Could not beat level 7 :)

Developer

level 7 can indeed not be beaten

Big sad :(

Submitted

This was really cool! It was very fun trying to figure out how to traverse the levels, especially with the new mechanics occasionally introduced.

Developer

Thanks! The mechanics being introduced definitely need some work tho lol.

Thanks for playing :D

This game is super fun and chaotic, love the art and the mechanics! Took me a bit to get used to the controls but once you get the hang of it, it’s a blast. Definitely check out my game too if you have a chance, would love to hear what you think!

Developer

Glad you liked it!

The chaos is definitely real.

I'll be sure to check yours out :)

Really cool game, very interesting mechanics and quite chaotic, not much else to say it's pretty fun. Audio isn't the best but it's fine

Developer

Indeed very chaotic.

Thanks for playing :)
