How does your game fit the theme?
The game is a meta escape room where you escape from a BOX using information from OUTSIDE of the game, also all of the puzzles use rectangles and boxes(a painting, a computer, a letterbox, etc.). also also, very much a stretch but a common theme in the game is words being 3 letter long, and raising a number to the power of 3 means to cube it, like a cube.

I liked the game cool puzzles well done!

Decent game. I'm not a puzzle person so didn't get too much out of it, but was certainly interesting

holy puzzle game, this game is really creative and gets you to think 'outside the box' literally and figuratively. i think what you need is more communication cuz i can't really tell when i solve a puzzle, maybe that's a me thing cuz i'm not the greatest at meta puzzle games but a little bit more communication from the game would be nice imo (don't need to handhold the player but give them a sense of direction). still, it's a fun game but its gonna take a while for me to figure out the rest of these.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I'm not great at game feel stuff, more focused on game design, so yeah maybe the game could have better feedback for solving puzzles. I do think the problem isn't communicating when a puzzle was solved, cause all puzzle have an audio/visual cue to indicate solving, but moreso communicating when a puzzle was solved incorrectly, as there is nothing to tell you that.

Super cool game idea it was really fun and creative! I bet you could make a good ARG lol

Super clever concept, loved having to think outside the game window for real. Puzzles are brutal but satisfying when they click, the hints doc helps a lot. The idea totally nails the jam theme.

I managed to get 2/3 correct on the first letter puzzle but now i'm stuck sadly.  This game is really awesome though, i've been going at it for an hour or so. It makes me feel really smart whenever I think **Outside the box** to get the solutions. (I even went as far as to dig through the github repo lol...) I don't think there is anything there though.

Thanks for the nice comment! nah it's not THAT deep, nothing too special in the repo other than some jank code. I actually found out you have to put the gitHub repo like two days before submission and I actually didn't have a repo when making this. After the jam ended I got a ton of cool ideas for other puzzles, like using the gitHub repo, so maybe there will be a full version some day in the future.

Great puzzle game, keep it up!

cool game i love the idea tho a bit confusing

Couldn't solve any puzzles :(

Needing to think outside the box to solve these puzzles is definitely on theme.  So far though, I'm not sure I was able to solve any puzzle yet.  If I'm able to use the arrows, does that mean that puzzle was correctly solved ?  I'll try some more, normally I like puzzle games.  My game is a First Person Puzzler (Shooter) type game.  I read the hints and will re-read them to hopefully get these few puzzles solved.

Submitted(+1)

I solved one of the puzzles, still working on the others.

I randomly got one of the letters from the LET puzzle, but after too many tries, I guess I'm giving up.  I also tried to see the source code at your GitHub link ( was going to read the code and find the answers ), but that URL isn't working.

Thanks for the comment! I guess I'll have to work on the hints, cause the game is still pretty hard. Glad you were able to solve at least one puzzle. I can't see what's wrong with the gitHub link rn, but I'll also work on fixing that when I can.

Developer

I have fixed the github issue, I accidentally put the repo on private. should work fine now

A creative puzzle game! I especially liked having to find solutions outside the game which is a clever way of interpreting the theme

Submitted(+1)

It's vary puzzling.

Submitted(+1)

Incredibly creative, definitely fits the theme in every way it can, and a very fun game too.

one of the most creative ideas so far! i love out of box (haha i said the thing) puzzle games, however they're basically my kryptonite so i'm not really fit to give any valuable feedback on them. i am pretty stumped right now, though im not sure if its cause im dumb or the game needs a lil guidance. anyways, great game with a lot of charm and creativity! im gonna go back to trying to beat it now

Developer

Thanks a lot! The game turned out to be to hard, and because it's a game jam a lot of people who will play this aren't good with puzzles, so i'm gonna make a hints manual, hopefully it will give the guidance you need.

Fun game

Soooo cool - I've been at it for a while now, eventually got stuck but thoroughly enjoyed burning my brain for a while! Very creative idea.

really interesting concept that u have to go outside the game. i managed to get through the link but i dont know what to do from there with the letter puzzles (something to do with the numbers in the red box)? the video is basic yet effective. overall, i think some guidance would be helpful.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the nice comment! especially for saying something about the video pitch, it was made in under 3 hours and was my first time using clipChamp. Also guidance will come soon, I'm gonna make a hints manual.

Can i ask for a hint? I think I can grasp some of this game ideas but I cannot advance in any way, even working with the ??? link...

Developer(+1)

I think the best hint I can give is that each puzzle has a color, and stuff with the same color usually corelate somehow, if you wanna show me exactly where you are feel free to dm me (my discord is guy729) and I'll try to respond quickly. Also I'm thinking about adding a hints page in the description because you're not the first person to get stumped by the game.

Favorite game idea so far

Developer

Thanks! I feel like the game's idea and just the game itself is very dependant on person and that a lot of people will probably not enjoy it, glad to hear some positive feedback on it :)
