How does your game fit the theme?
Well, it's a pretty outside-the-box and abnormal idea. Also, you check your spells by looking into a box, and taking them, "out of the box" so to speak.

Really like the idea of casting spell by drawing. Although the game is kinda buggy as I got random crashes while playing. The enemies are too hard for me, I couldn't try the spells since they spawn-killing me at the start.

Thanks for playing! Performance is a big issue I currently tackling, and whilst I have found the root problem, the solution is pretty complicated :( I hope that you will give the game another try once we have done some balancing and optimization!

Its interesting idea, and pretty cool too, though I couldn't really do much since the controls gets locked when you do magic. I'd like experiment with the system, but while dodging stuff and having to aim, the controls completely locking up just doesn't allow me to play properly. I feel like letting me atleast change which way I am moving would be better.

Thank you for playing and leaving some feedback! Working on what feels right for different types of players is a really big challenge for me and I did make a conscious decision to lock controls when you are casting spells. My team will take this feedback on board tho and continue working to improve the feel of our gane!

It is really hard yeah, specially in such a short amount of time. Of course I didn't like the movement lock, but if you do continue development, try finding the type of people who'd like your game and then have them playtest and give you feedback, I do think I'll like the game if the movement wasn't locked during casting, but there might be others who like it this way, since it adds an extra challenge.

Great idea, I can clearly see how much potential it has, difficulty is quite hard to be. There is a bug with full screen where it gets insanely dark compared to not full screen. Otherwise such a good idea and would love to see it further developed.

Please check out my game if you get a chance.

Thanks so much for giving the game a shot, just out of curiosity, what are your video card and monitor specifications? Others have reported the same problem and Im trying to find the root cause atm. Pur team is definitely going to continue work on this project, so thank you for further encouragement!

It's interesting, unfortunately I have a skill issue and couldn't get the hang of it, but I can see the fun if you do. The game lags quite a bit however and the audio isn't amazing in my opinion, other than that it's fine.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback, the lag problem is something I was aware of and its due to how the enemy ai functions, unfortunately I just didn't get enough time to implement a solution :/ Appreciate it and thank you for playing!

Pretty cool. I am impressed with the mechanic  of how you cast spells. Took me a while to get the hang of it but once I did I had a blast.

Very cool game and artwork! It was satisfying to get the grips of how the spells worked and hop around the place :D
