I really loved the atmosphere! It conveys the feeling of being stranded alone in space very well I think.
The onboarding could have been better, at the beginning I thought I needed to go back to the ship for oxygen / lowering suit temp since they looked like they were going down. But the game was mostly simple enough to figure out after a while.
Great job!
A very atmospheric game. Loved the entire deserted planet vibes! Great work!
what a good game, its atmosphere is just right, congratulations :D
I played your game days ago but forgot to leave a message, I came to play it again as it crashed before and noticed that I didn't have a comment here. oops.
This time it didnt crash and I got pretty far in.
Cool game and has a really good atmosphere. I did feel like the character was short but that it also felt like a bug maybe, so not sure if the character is a little short or the character was clipping a little bit, like when I got in the ship it felt as though I sank a bit. Not that it mattered to the game or anything just thought I'd point it out.
Good job on the game and good luck in the Jam
I've enjoyed the overall experience :) Congrats on making such a game in such a low time!
Interesting idea. Atmosphere is well done and has this "horror-feel" I was on edge most of the time. One bug I found is that I am able to loot from very far. It came handy when some of the lootables spawned inside other models. The sensitivity needs to be toned down from the get go (even after reducing it quite a bit it was too much for me). How do I evade the blind robots? I was crouching moving only and they automatically saw and fired at me?
Overall, pretty cool little game. good work!
Amazing atmosphere, was sweating while playing thru b and c. This is genuinely so amazing and packed with content and lore! There were some issues with collision I think but literally everything else about this game is so lit I can't even complain. The music is great, the vibes are immaculate!
This one is hard to judge. I enjoyed the overall atmosphere, though art wasnt super crazy good but served its purpose. The sound got better (think on delta a it could have been more mysterious/spooky), but important interactions missed sounds (specially harvesting scrap, footsteps and the refiner interactions). Would have rather prefered sound for that and skipped fe the log feature. But i had fun with it, guess this was somewhat time consuming to build. (3,4,4,4,3)
Thanks for the feedback! We would’ve liked to add sound effects to our game, but we didn’t have the ability to make our own sound effects (at least good quality ones), and we couldn’t find the ones we were looking for on the internet so we worked on other features (such as the logs).
Amazing atmosphere, well-designed game! I feel like it could use a little more guidance, especially at the beginning, and a little less on-screen informations
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah the guidance definitely needs some improvements and the UI was an ongoing issue throughout development (took some inspiration from scenes in The Martian). Hope you were able to work out what to do eventually!
The atmosphere is really excellent. I think I could use more direction on what I'm supposed to do, I felt a little lost. Maybe I'm just slow xD. Anyway really cool game nice work.
Thankyou! Yeah the objectives in this game are very much in need of improvements.
I am very impressed by how fleshed out the game feels, and the atmosphere is fantastic!
Thankyou!
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and I am so impressed you made this in a two week jam, really well done. There is a lot of content here, it's really great. The controls were a little sensitive but thats an easy fix. Would love to see how you take the concept further!
Thanks! We no lifed so much on this game (we do not talk about how much our unity and blender time increased). If it helps, there is a settings menu in the game to adjust sensitivity but we would definitely lower the base sensitivity for a further developed version of this game. Thanks for the feedback.
The desolate sci-fi atmosphere is really well done! I had a couple issues with the web build but the downloaded version worked great. Was surprised that there were 3 planets AND an outer space section, very cool. Really like the game and the concept and would love to see what you could do with it further too!
Would like to see the robots look a bit more menacing haha, they kinda remind me of goofy daleks a bit right now lol
Thanks for the kind words! Yeah there are some known issues with the web build that we couldn’t fix in time. The robots were definitely something we would like to improve in the game. We are thinking about taking many concepts from this game and turning it into a full game that we would release on steam and other gaming platforms.
Noice atmosphere. My potato could run it smoothly somehow. Reminds me of Lethal Company. Got stuck on some colliders, but nothing permanent.
Thanks! No idea how the game ran smoothly for you but if it works it works! Yeah we took some inspiration from lethal company and were also inspired by no mans sky. The colliders were a known issue but due to time constraints we decided that it would be fine for a game jam.
I really like the visual direction and concepts in this game! I don't know if I did it correctly, but I picked up this item from the ground that looked like a shell or battery then my screen turned black and ended there. So, not sure if that was the ending, but looking at the screenshots, I might have missed a few things. I think the main concern for me was the settings menu. I could open it but then there was no mouse cursor so it was hard for me to navigate and lower the sensitivity.
That’s just a known bug, if you restart the game it should go away. It also seems to be more prevalent if you are crouched when picking it up, but i was never able to reproduce it in development so I was never able to fix it. Sorry you experienced it
Very nice atmosphere. Impressive you could capture that feeling while also keeping it smooth to run on a web build. I think a bit of UI work just to make everything clearer would help.
Nice game overall!
Thanks! I have no idea how it runs smoothly lol, the code is a mess. But if it works it works, I guess.
Super cool graphics and really nice feeling movement (I like the trackpad/mouse camera rotation), fun adventure feeling too I only wish I could fight back against the robots lol
Thanks! Combat with the robots was planned but was eventually scrapped due to time limitations (It took us just the first week to finish Delta-A because we didn't know what we were doing lol, and we only had a week to finish Delta-B, Delta-C, and the outer space section so we were quite time limited)
Very understandable, fun game anyway
I love this game!! It looks great and is tons of fun. My only critique is its too sensitive, although that may just be a skill issue.
Yeah a lot of the playtesters said it was too sensitive; there's a pause menu where you can turn down the sensitivity and volume.
Oh, thanks. maybe you still should have made the default lower though.
Great job! I can see the Lethal Company inspiration!
The atmosphere is great, the music fits perfectly.
I think the game could use a little bit more polish (like gaps on the walls in the second planet), but overall I enjoyed it
Thanks! And yes, it was definitely inspired by lethal company. I also agree that the game could've used some polish, but we were running short on time (A blender issue made us get the facility done with not much time left on the last day).
daaamn the athmosphere is awesome! I missed some colliders tho
