Interesting, to be honest I'm not a fan of that kind of esthetics so I won't say any judgement, as this is just personal preferences. The explanations were pretty long and had me concentrated to read and understand everything, they were really complete but a bit intimidating. Otherwise the idea is great and switching views to go in 3d was cool, it was a novel experience among all the jams games. Great job !

The game has an interesting concept and is very well executed. I especially liked the in-game introduction to the game world and the plot. I also liked the two visually distinct phases - planning in 2D and execution in 3D. I just with there were more things to do in the 3D view other than pushing the Big Red Button, but that was fun in itself. Cheers!
Love the look of the map screen and menus. The tilting effect when the van turns is also a nice touch! I think the pickups could use a bit more contrast against the background (mostly the blue one) but I still had a lot of fun trying to catch the storms and realizing the error of my ways picking pressure for every card. Great work!
Great work! Love the graphics and vibe of the game, but had some trouble understanding how to actually play.
Nice game! Definitely original and I really liked the 90s vibes.
Lost the first run. On my second run I somehow got a score of -87, but I'm not sure that was intended 🤣
Ran into issues when I pressed ESC key and could no longer use the mouse in game. Also couldn't figure out how to undo directions once chosen. Cool aesthetic though and way to be creative with the theme.
Fantastic vibes! I was a little lost on how things worked in the game, but I enjoyed playing anyway!
Loved the 90s styling and aesthetics! For some reason I kept thinking of the movie Twister when playing this. The storm simulation and movement in the van felt very premium and polished - way beyond indie level I would say. I liked being able to look around inside the van. At first, I tried it on Safari and the mouse wasn't working, so I switched over to Chrome and it worked. Great job and nice visuals overall!
-the soundtrack and sounds in general we very nice
-gameplay was hard to understand, had to read the instructions 3 times, and then mess around with it before I realized how movement works
-even after that, couldn't really grasp what the cards do or the colours or numbers mean
-was working on getting the blue things? I think that was the objective? and obviously I lost somehow, but really not sure why (must've missed something telling me I was close to death?)
-font is hard to read
Very cool interpretation of the theme and great visuals and atmosphere.
Wow, what an amazing game! It's very well made and fun to play.
It’s a nice idea to have an autopilot navigate through environmental events while you analyze the data yourself (at least that’s how I interpret it). It’s a fun puzzle game that gets harder with every move. Visually, it’s very cohesive too. Good work.
Unfortunately, it’s also very confusing. The controls are relatively simple, but there’s so much explained at the beginning that it feels overwhelming. And despite the introduction at the start, after two rounds I still don’t understand why I’m actually playing the different “storm cards” and why that doesn’t just happen randomly. What’s the point of that? Because as far as I can tell, you’re just trying to collect the blue squares and then end the run at the right moment before too many natural disasters destroy you.
If I understood correctly the idea of the game is to navigate the map to find the sensor data and avoid the red things. But each round you also manipulate the red things. This idea is very cool to me, but that was not super obvious even with reading the tutorial. I am a sucker for visual tutorials so would have preferred an example round or something that explains what the dangers are etc. I could actually go through everything and the game ended at the end when I found the last sensor data. Not sure if that was intended because I thought I was supposed to avoid the red stuff.
Overall I think the idea is great, just would have preferred the 2d map view only and maybe a bit more hands on tutorial. Great work!
Here are some notes from me:
- In the main menu some of the white text gets lost in some of the backgrounds
- Same thing in the pre game menu, maybe it has something to do with the retro effect also
- I went back to menu from the game and the menu links didnt work anymore
- For some reason I had a hard time understanding the end goal of the game
- I feel the switch from the map to 3d creates a bit of an unnecessary disconnect in the game, I would prefer only playing in the map view. It also takes some time to load everytime it switches to 3d view
- I got end of round window in the 3d view on the screen. It was partly visible and i could Still play
This game absolutely BLEW (pun intended) me away. I absolutely love the aesthetic and the music too. The strategy of picking your own hazards that you will then have to navigate in the next round gives the game so much depth. Somehow I ended up being unable to click anything in the 3D section of the game so I had to quit early but I loved every second when I was able to play!
Very cool game, love the mechanic of driving a bus through a storm. There were a couple of bugs I encountered at the end of my playthrough, but that didn't affect the fun I had. I wasn't sure why the 3D area was needed, didn't feel that it was used enough. I like the graphics and art but the white text of light background was a little hard to read. It would be nice to have a tutorial level instead of the wall of text at the start. I think the items you need to collect should be a different colour (maybe green) to everything else in the level as they were a bit hard to spot behind storms.
I love the vhs safety video style, really well done! It's tough to communicate more complex gameplay mechanics in a game jam, but you did a fantastic job making it interesting. Awesome job!
