Damn you guys did a great job! I played it twice, first time I lost at the final stage, second time I decided to go for as many firerate frogs as I could, and beat the game. Very neat visuals, I loved the audio and great attention to detail.

Nice game! Had fun collecting frogs and throwing them into the cauldron 🥲
It gets pretty challenging at the end, but somehow I manage to survive and defeat the...
The frogs are really cute!

Nice game! Had a lot of fun with this one, the first round did not go so well but then I picked up the mechanics. I liked the different frogs and testing each to find their bonus set, then focusing on a few colors to maximize your build, that is really cool! Gameplay was pretty smooth and the art assets look great. I liked the boss music at the end but they got me good. Solid entry, well done!

Adorable models and a really interesting concept, I felt like I was playing an RTS game as the only unit lol. Unfortunately I don't feel like the frogs amounted to much more than randomness for me, all of them had multiple effects and it was nigh impossible to be strategic since they randomly appeared, it felt more effective to just grab as many frogs as possible as quickly as possible and that means whatever happens to be closest pretty much.

I also really liked the transition between night and daytime I think that was a nice touch.

Good game!

Loved this! Very cute graphics and fun gameplay loop. It almost reminded me of Kirby Air Riders with the frantic race to build up your stats lol

I think that the mechanic of chasing down the frogs of the correct color for you build was a lot of fun! If there were super rare and fast frogs that added crazy mechanics (chain lightning, explosive potions, lingering roots, etc.) that could add a fun spice. Or maybe having some reward from surviving the night? Either way, I feel like the core loop is solid, the art is stellar, and with some polish + juice it could really be addictive.

P.S. I did it! The last wave was tough to balance blasting the frog and the oncoming enemies, but in the end I got it done :)

this is a really cute fun and simple tower defense game i love the art style and the gameplay is really satisfying great work :) it would be nice though if the pickup button was something like spacebar or something but otherwise nice game

Actively searched through the list of submissions to find this one as i saw the art in the works in progress chat and had to check it out. it’s just as cute as expected, absolutely adore the art. Chase the frogs felt so primal it was great, the choice of e to grab them though felt clunky at time because moving a finger of D to grab them often resulted in them moving away and a bit of frustration.

I think i hit a bug on the last night, the cute giant frog took 2 jumps at me and then went full sonic and sped at me faster than any of the enemies and if felt like there would never be time to kill it.

Very very good entry all in all. you both should be very proud of this

Hey, I really liked the game! Cosy and cute. Very nice gameplay.

I tried in browser, so after phase 3 the game started to lag. By phase 4, unfortunately I had to give up; it basically became a powerpoint presentation. It might be the toads spawning, but I'm not sure. At first, I thought it was just a cute game because it was so cute but then I was thrown onto a cauldron and defending myself from a ton of enemies! =)

I wish there was a pause menu so I could stop at any moment. But I gues every second counts

I liked the new toads, their effects, and the new enemies (due to lag, I only saw their eyes and bats).

I will definitely give it a try with desktop version though! Very good game!

Neat game. I enjoyed the decision making on how to build up your stats, the experimentation and then trying to remember what frog does what is interesting.
If the phases were a little quicker and depending on how hectic things get, i could see myself playing it  a lot longer.

Nice job both!

Very cool idea and fun gameplay loop. I just wish it was clearer what upgrades each color frog can give

amazing submission! I really enjoyed the art. The main character, the enemies (especially the pumpkin head thing) and the little frogs all felt very alive. I like how during the nighttime the camera zooms out and you get a sense for this vast place. Overall, the atmosphere game is great.

I really enjoyed the idea of preparing at day and fighting at night. It's executed quite well, but some feedback (IMHO) on how it could be better: the frogs should give only positive traits. It felt a little bit bad that the frogs downgraded other traits. I really like the idea of picking the ones you need, but then it feels odd that it decreases something else. IMO I'd say that would allow for more strategic frog-picking during the day. Also with no downgrades, each stat keeps getting more and more intense, so the night fights always feel more intense too

But overall this was a fantastic game, I died at 6/7, and had lots of fun playing it
