Hey, the idea of a horror incremental is pretty great! Congratulations!

Really fun! It may be me that I like incremental games in general, but it was kinda tense to try to keep everything correct and had to focus on doing the right decissions,  it is very well balanced. Had lots of funs, nice work!

Developer

Thanks! Yea I tried to shorten the incremental game loop with multiple loss conditions, so more people had time to play the game. I’m glad it made for a more tense experience! Thanks for the feedback

my brain isn't wired for this kind of game, but i think there's solid polish and the vibes are all there.  In the end I let the entity awake, and was hoping there'd be some kind of visual resolution.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. Yea it would have been really nice with some more visual feedback or animation in the end. I’ll have to team up with an artist next time :) Thanks for playing

I really enjoyed this! It feels really balanced and I ended up playing it for quite a while. I wish that the counter for sacrificing was in the bottom middle of the screen since it's an important mechanic, but this is super minor. Great job, awesome game!

Developer

Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback! There’s definately room for improvement in the UI readability. I ended up shifting all the buttons around an hour before upload,  but I honestly needed a fresh playtester to improve the UI in the end :)

Try and beat my high score! Have fun and thanks for playing.

I really got into it! It felt well balanced and my choices felt meaningful. Even if two options both just made things cheaper, one was morally different.

This really evokes a feeling of being out of control on a number of levels, especially after thinking I had the economy in hand for a moment.

Very easy to get sucked in! Good job!

Great work on balancing the mechanics and difficulty.  You feel the dread looming as the game goes.

Congrats on finishing the jam!

Very well balanced game. The difficulty makes everything more interesting and keeps you engaged.

Cool game! Seems well balanced which was probably not that easy :D

Developer

As you can probably see from my pixel art, most of my time went into balance :)

Wow, amazing game! Although I feel bad for constantly sacrificing workers, especially considering that decay is inevitable. The atmosphere of looming cosmic horror hangs heavily, the music and sound add even more dread! Well done!

Thanks! Glad you caught the really subtle theme of decay in there :D

I don't usually like incremental games... This one was fantastic!
This game nails the cosmic horror theme (I'm not sure how it relates to decay).
The gameplay was engaging and told an interesting story. Well done.

A cool incremental game!! I liked the requirement of balancing all of the mechanics at once. Good job!

Developer

Thanks! And well done on the high score. That's a pretty good run :)
