I died on night 9, but it's really well designed. The gameplay loop is fun, and the interpretation of 'decay' is quite literal, but doing it through abilities and only being able to keep 1 of the 2 options it gives you is a great idea. I'd love to see this mechanic explored further!

Very well done game! I love challenging games and this was quite tough! Good Job!
I liked it! I wasn't able to get past level 9 though, I tried standing still and letting them clean me like the text said but they looked like they'd be too tough to beat fairly. I also lost a run because I didn't realize the floor eyes damaged you.
I really enjoyed the narrative. It's just spooky being directed to a mystery room! I really am a fan of the top down shooters, so this was a familiar fun for me. Good stuff, just hope you add more sound effects to level up the game.
Wonderful narrative! was really fun to read the story and how it unfolds. The mood is really strong in it. Although I have to ask, is night 10 even possible? I've been trying for an hour, and I only reached it once. I have no clue if it's a skill issue or whether I'm missing something. It feels like the damage at the start of the round is unavoidable, and you don't have enough HP to tank it all by that point, especially not after night 9.
That's a complex question... there are certain stats that are more useful that it seems (range), and the last level require a lot of skills (A LOT LOT), you must spray like a madman, but it is reachable. I could tweak the numbers and make everything easier, like i did after the first tests by adding a moderate life restore, but in the end (and for the jam purpose), is it the point?
I like the game but I like the narrative even more, and I think the ending phrases are always a meaningful ending.
By the way, in the credits you can read all the story from intro to post night 10 😉
This was really cool, nice art, great narrative and a really cool take on the Decay theme. Sadly I think once your range stat falls too far the enemies start to hit you before you hit them, making it really hard to win. That aside this was super well done, great job!
Challenging game with a theme that fits the gameplay really well. Everything feels cohesive and engaging.
Nice combat mechanic, was challenging but the floor was still messy 🧹
I enjoyed the concept of this one and how the theme was integrated into the mechanics as well.
I ran into the same aiming/moving bug as Kigen Games, but when I reset I couldn’t recreate it. If I’m able to, I’ll definitely let you know though.
Great job, and congratulations on completing the jam!
Theming was kinda neato, but I loved the way the information was conveyed between nights in such a vague way! It gives a great incentive for people to keep playing long-term. Also the game loop is VERY fun and clever for the jam prompt :))))
I liked the mechanic, smart way to handle the inevitable decay. The narrative is funny .
Only things I would fix is that sometimes the mouse doesn't provide the aiming but move to the direction the character is moving, and polish the graphics and sound a bit more.
Really cool concept!! I loved the narrative behind the game, great job!
This one is a lot of fun. I really like how the difficulty ramps from the player decaying, and choosing which stats to keep gives each run a new strategy. Great job!
The combat is fun.
Reminds me of Vampire Survivors, in a good way.
The story was also creepy and well-written.
