In all honesty, I didn't really know what to do here. All I was able to do in my time playing was chop down a couple of trees. I used the watering can a couple times but then I got permanently locked in place and had to restart. I believe this could develop into something interesting but, as it is now, I think it needs a lot more polishing up before anything new is added.
Thank you for the honest feedback. It seems you may have played the browser version, which, as mentioned on the page, is not intended to represent the full game jam experience. The downloadable .exe version contains the complete presentation and intended gameplay experience.
I’ve also started noticing a pattern in recent comments where players are spending only a few minutes in the game before leaving a review. While all feedback is appreciated, it becomes difficult to fairly represent the amount of work and detail put into the project without giving the experience more time to unfold.
Just as a small reminder as well. This project was developed solo. Every system, piece of art, mechanic, and design choice was handled by one person, so I truly appreciate anyone willing to give it a genuine chance.
Ah, my apologies! That’s what I get for not reading! I’ll make sure I give the downloadable another shot! I don’t doubt that a lot of time and effort went into this project and I’m eager to get to see it! I’ll dedicate more time to it so I can give more accurate and informed feedback
Hi! Good prototype, keep up the good work and it will be a great game :)
Did you make it with GameMaker?
Yes this was made in game maker studio 2.4
Thank you for your feedback in trying it out!
Coder: Sorry, I truly tried to understand what my goal is or what I can do with anything in this world but chopping apple tries with an axe (couldn't even understand how to collect apples). I think a little guid at the start what to do is something you need in this complex type of games. Vibes are cool though and the world seems wide and explorable. Just give a player some hints or a little storyline to follow to get known with the mechanics and the world. Keep it up :)
Artist: A lot of locations and artworks are admirable <3

Our bad, didn't see the comment, we'll try the downloadable version and rerate it then.
For the future possible jams, consider editing the game page (I don't think it's against the rules unless you update the game itself) and placing this kind of warnings on the top of the game page to prevent such type of confusions. Brb with a downloadable experience feedback!
Very not cozy spring vibes lol. Honestly I was a little bit confused on what exactly my goal was other than explore. The world is so weird and buggy it’s hard to tell what is meant to be that way and isn’t and it’s such an interesting/surreal vibe. I will say I think the music is too…. Well-defined for the game, even considering it’s supposed to feel off. Even if it was bit crushed a little I think it would feel a little bit more in line with the world. Also I love that guy in the middle of the field. Dance on my man.
Appreciate the honesty in your feedback. The world design is intentional. I am proud of my work over the 72 hour jam.
The game idea is good, but you should zoom in a little.
I appreciate your feedback! I'll work on the camera system in the next update. Lots of support recently on the game so I cant thank you enough for trying it out!
The outer wilds theme was a neuron activation lol. As for the gameplay, the game is sometimes confusing regarding map locations, but despite that, I was able to farm things pretty well! I didn't quite understand the lore of the mirror portal, but the snake minigame was fun lol
I appreciate the feedback and consideration in playing the game. I am going to work on a checklist of some things to add to the tutorial areas to allow the player more direction.
I appreciate the fact you believe its the outer wilds theme. Its very much inspired by it. The track can be found on my youtube from five months ago.
Noticed the edit and the false report. How rude..
sweet game! Liked it much
Appreciate you for trying it out!
The map is very huge, which is why I recommend adding a clearer guide on where to head, because there's so much to explore. But I love the scenery and the diverse locations that you created. I felt the story itself was breaking the fourth wall, and I'd love to see you expand more on that! Awesome game!
Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate it!
Amazing music, maybe you can add some collision in the futur
Thank you for the feedback. More collision will be added after jam!
Interesting game, and the concept has a lot of potential. Looking forward to the full version!
I really love the artwork! Great vibes. I got a bit stuck at the first screen not knowing you could move to others at first but once i figured that out i had a lot of fun!
I appreciate the feedback and kind words! Art was created by myself with tilesets used posted links on the page! Check out their assets if you like.
