Aww man, so many sad people! This one touches you on a personal level because everyone has dealt with at least one of these moments in their lifetime. Nice job pulling at the heart strings, nice job overall! Also, grats on finishing a game in your first jam!

Oh I adore this game! Very well written dialogue and great interpretation of the theme. Did you by any chance play Ni No Kuni? That game has a similar mechanic of giving people pieces of your own heart to help with their problems, your game really reminded me of that. I really like this idea and I would love to see you expand this game!

Very well done!

Definitely a deep and emotional game for sure! Your take on the theme is so creative! A bit more polish would've been better overall but regardless, great work!

Congrats on your first game! I really like the variety in character designs here and the art style is very cute and cohesive. I admire you tackling sensitive topics in relation to theme, it's handled with care and written well, and sends out a good message about how you should have people you can confide in rather then trying to take the burden of everyone else's problems at the cost of your own mental health.

I like the ui of the heart breaking, and the screen getting darker to represent the main character's mental health getting effected, although there appears to be some scaling issues with it, I'd suggest changing the stretch mode to canvas items in the project settings to hopefully sort that out.

some music, and sound could elevate the experience and i also think it would be impactful to have some screen shake when you loose a piece of the heart.

Well done, good effort! : )

Thank you so much! I've spent the whole day making the characters, so didn't have the time and forgot about some scaling issues :')
I'm glad you liked it!

I liked where you went with this.  For games that are interactive or have story, it's very easy for them to take waaay too long.  This hits right away, and the message is clear.  Thank you for making this.

Thank you for playing! I've tried my best :)

Very unique take on the theme. Very cute pixel and HD art, with good writing. I think there may be an issue sometimes I can't interact with some people and have to move around a bit to find the right spot. Overall, really cool concept. Good job!

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, i've noticed it on the last day but i don't actally know what causes it, but i'll try to fix it :)

It's interesting to see something like the Giving Tree here. I really liked this!
Noticed a few visual bugs, like how the screen getting darker effect doesn't cover the whole screen (It's likely that the game is running with a higher resolution than intended).

Developer

Thank you!! Yeah, i forgot to fix the problems with the resolution :') I'm glad you liked it!
