A cute little arcade game! I could see this getting bundled up with a bunch of other arcade games like UFO50

Developer

Thank you so much! :)

The pixel art is super charming. The pachinko aspect was a nice twist on the classic catch falling stuff game

Developer

Thank you!

Judging from the thumbnail, I thought it would be kind of a standard "catch falling objects" game but adding the pegs made it so much more fun :) Very cute art and easy to jump into. It was a little disappointing the song cut out cause I was into it :) Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Yeah I added the music last minute and forgot to loop it... Whoops haha.

Cool game! Very easy to pick up, and cute artstyle too. Nice one!

Thank you for playing!

We do have similar entries!
I like the way you laid out the pegs, nice and symmetrical. I had trouble orienting mine to be somewhat symmetrical while avoiding the possibility of objects getting stuck.

How did you approach the falling objects? They don't quite feel like rigid bodies, or maybe they're just very bouncy.

Developer

Thank you!

They are RigidBodies actually lol. I just turned the bounciness up and used the bounce method to collide with the pegs.

This was really awesome!  I was able to understand the premise very readily and had a great time playing.  Clever to make the shooting stars worth more points but also make them optional to catch.  Well done!

Developer

Thank you! :) I'm glad you enjoyed.

Pretty fun, and a very cute art style! I felt like the hitbox for the opposum catching the apple was a little unforgiving, but maybe I'm just not great at it lol

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah the hitbox of the pouch goes a little above the sprite of the pouch and goes all the way down to the floor. I was wondering if maybe I should have made it the size of the opossum.

Really fun and simple game! It's kind of addictive haha. I really liked the tension between choosing whether or not to risk losing health for a star.  The artwork is pretty charming as well. I do wish there was some more music though. The settings menu also felt a little bit cramped/overwhelming especially with the large font. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! I agree with everything you said haha. I should have spent more time on the menus and music, I just ran out of time trying to rush them towards the end of the jam. Thanks for the feedback!

The controls are really easy and it was really easy to pickup, some of the other games I played weren't. The only gripe I had with it was that the music didn't loop. Overall it was really nice

Developer

Thank you, I appreciate the encouragement!

The game is very easy to understand and pick up, and it reminds me of old arcade games. Really cool.

Thank you for playing! :)
