Oh my gosh this is so amazing. All this done in a game jam is wild! Loved the art, the portraits of each member were so so good. The friendly fire is really what makes the main game play loop shine - it really becomes a puzzle game about who is in danger, who is safe to fight, and where can folks move without getting shot by friends. Seriously, just absolutely amazing game - great job!

Also, the opening scene of everybody standing over the sheriff's wife with one guy very unhelpfully saying "oops" killed me haha. I actually laughed out loud - dialogue and story was really good for this game too!

This one is impressive. Thanks for this experience. Didn't finish it yet but i will 😌
EDIT : Okay, I finished it, but I have an issue: the last level keeps looping.

We're aware of the loop! That was an "oops" on our part. We'll upload a final version with that fixed once the jam is over.

Tons of visual assets must have been made for this and the fact that they all have high quality is super impressive!

The variety in voice acting also brings a level of polish I was not expecting to find in a jam game, it feels like quite a fleshed out game for only 9 days! The only real pain point I could think of was that sometimes it was hard to tell friend from foe and there were a few times where I may have had my units standing over the spawn locations so I couldn't see an enemy spawn directly on top of my team.

Crazy the amount your team did in 9 days! Congrats

Super fun and unique! I like that enemies are also susceptible to friendly fire. The illustration work is also very beautiful, the character portraits and design really fit the theme. There were a few times where I got a bit confused as to which characters were mine in the top down view, but you can always go through the moves and undo which was a really nice feature

Probably my favourite entry for the jam. It started to dip in fps after multiple levels but i assume its probably due to me using firefox.

Absolutely awesome game! The combat mechanic had me totally hooked, and the story to drive it all forward was very nicely done as well. I think my favourite phrase was "Using all this as some kind of fucked up sundial...". Very beautiful character design too, just great visuals and sounds in general. A little more indication of range and damage wouldn't go amiss, but really enjoyable overall. Certainly one of my favourites so far, great work!

I killed at least half my team myself :(  but I enjoyed the art style and the originality. A very well-polished game.

This was great! I like the core mechanic, felt original and fun. There were real stakes with each of the characters dying throughout the run.

Delightful and well crafted, great work. I'm especially fond of being able to dodge or time the landing of a real-time moving projectile in a turn based game.

I really liked the game. super cool fight mechanic (the core is simple) but it has so much cool "chess" move and timing gameplay ;)
Also the story, transitions, artwork, voiceover and all the characters are very strong.
I would have loved to have a better indicator of the weapon of my team and the enemy, and how much health each weapon would take away.

Super cool submission, very well done!

Wow, feels like a big game! I really loved the character select screen with the silhouettes and then seeing the beautifully drawn portraits. Incredible to see what you can do with a team in only 9 days!

Holy cow I got my entire team killed. Love that your choices matter, because your teammates don't come back if they're dead. Also, the art is great!

Also, "Oops" is diabolical.

This has potential. I really like this type of games. Good job to all of you! :D Was fun!

Loved the flick-em up style gameplay! All the art was great and some of the turns had some great head scratching moments. The choice between crew-members also had a real effect on the strategy, which was cool to see! Overall just a really well put together little package!

Great job :D

Damn, what a nice surprise! I love FarWest settings so I was hooked from the start, but the game is very fun, beautiful and complete! And I love having characters to choose from, the amount of content is kinda crazy for a jam, I didn't play with sound so I can't say anything about that tho.

Congratulations! If you plan to take the game further after the jam, keep me updated ~
