I used Godot as my game engine. I used Adobe Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint for the art assets. I used Ableton live for the music and sound effects. And I used Davinci Resolve for the videos.
Use of the limitation
I incorporated the limitation in two ways. The first being that my game's art style looks as if it was created on a budget. The second being that the game revolves around managing and spending money.

This game looks simple, but I love this game's aesthetics so much!
Visual is awesome!!! I like how you add paper artstyle in your game, i also tried to do some ui with paper but i just make windows worse so i stop trying.
Good balance for idle game, each few seconds you have something to click, and its keep you in focus.

In all seriousness though, this is an utterly delightful little game. It’s a simple concept, but it does it well, which is arguably even more important. Surprisingly fully functional on mobile as well!! Great work :)

I love your art style a lot! The line animations on the title screen is amazing.
Two small improvements that would multiply the fun for me:
- I need to know the number of dinosaurs! It's a numbers game, right? =)
- There seems to be a genetic defect in play, all the creatures are facing the same direction. Well, they all look happy nevertheless.
Enjoyed your small game quite a bit. Can't close the window...
