redkoala64 calling it the best narrative story in the jam is high praise and completely earned — Planet With a Ring's point about rarely seeing heavy themes in GDevelop jams is exactly right, and this game fills that gap beautifully. Squish008's "Until Then" comparison is a huge compliment for the art direction, that game is known for its emotional visual style. p°nd_snake's breakdown of how ambitious it was to handle three completely different gameplay states — ladder climbing, maze walking and puzzle solving — in one jam really puts the achievement in perspective. The intentional slow-to-fast speed contrast in the two mazes that JJGamez64 noticed is a clever design choice that mirrors the emotional shift in the story. Expanding the ending post-jam as the team already plans would make this a genuinely complete experience worth playing outside of the jam context!
Feel free to check out my sky platformer too if you get a moment!
VERY GOOD GAME, KEEP IT UP BRO❣️ YOU CAN ALSO TRY MY GAME AS WELL , HOPE YOU WILL ENJOY❣️
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for playing!
The game looks beautiful, love the artwork. I couldn't finish it but I enjoy the puzzles elements as well as the narrative. Definitely going to finish it later though.
I'm really glad you're enjoying the game!
I've played yours a while back too. I really liked the gun and platforming mechanics haha.
Game looks nice and well made. I just can't progress in the area where there are windows and you have to find a path I can't find it. Man I always suck at games with puzzles or where you need to find something. Good job tough!
Thanks for your feedback!
A tip for you: you can be around mirrors, just don't stand in-front of them for the first puzzle hehe. (Means you can technically move around the sides of the mirrors)
Very unique game! I can tell a lot of love was put into it.
Funnily enough I was gonna say that the maze part dragged a bit due to the slow speed but the speed was doubled on the second one.
Thanks for highlighting our efforts haha. We really spent an enormous amount of time and effort into this project, and we're glad to say we're definitely satisfied with the outcome!
Yes, the contrast of speed for the two mazes are drastic but it's intentional haha.
I liked the game, but I broke the maze part by pressing the arrow keys.
Thanks for the feedback.
Yup. We spotted this bug after submission time haha.
Will try to fix it after the jam if given the chance!
wow that ending hit so suddenly. I really loved the story you gave this game, i just had to finish it, i needed to know how it ends!!! The art is also so good :O And the music was also really nice! The gameplay was okay, luckily had no issues or encountered any bugs so I'm happy about that! But overall a very interesting game with a good story! Well done :D
Really glad you enjoyed our game!
Thanks for playing!
I liked the storyline, I found it captivating, the background music gave depth to the game and its style is beautiful, in my opinion, one of the most promising I've tested! If you have time, could you try my game too? It was made entirely on mobile by one person.
Thanks for your feedback!
I've actually already played your game haha. Really cool.
Congratulations, man! Very interesting and quite different from the other entries. :)
Really appreciate your comment!
Thanks for giving our game a shot!
Nice game!
Thank you!
Cool concept for a more detailed game!
I like the emotion you are bringing to the game, good choice of music 👌
You should continue to work on this and polish it
Thanks for the feedback!
We'll look into updating and expanding our game in the future if given the opportunity!
As many of us are University students, some just started while some are graduating soon, it'll be hard to gather the whole team together and stuff. But we'll see!
Hopefully we are able to continue this project!
I would recommend attempting to continue with the game 👍 polished projects will also always look good for your portfolio
I couldn't agree more.
This game really shines with it’s story and art style. Well done!
Thanks for your feedback!
I'm glad you enjoyed haha, we put in a lot of effort to make this game!
What a charming story! The gameplay is original and the atmosphere is immediately captivating. The labyrinths add an interesting dimension to the game. One might perhaps hope for a slightly faster movement speed, but it's not a problem.
Thanks for giving our game a shot!
Glad you enjoyed the gameplay! We were going for a environmental storytelling type of game for this jam haha.
As for the movement speed, we'll look into it in the future if given the chance!
This game has a lot of personality! It was pretty ambitious for the duration of the jam. I don't see a lot of games in Big Game Jam with heavy themes. I know it isn't the exact way you guys might have wanted and there are some bugs, but at least it's fully playable and these bugs don't detract from the overall player experience. My entry last year had some file issues and got too buggy on the last day (I was unable to fix it in time for submission) so I feel your pain. A game like this requires a lot of art and programming for the different game states (ladder climbing, maze walking, and puzzle solving). The audio really helped to tie together the atmosphere. Big fan of yarn. Great job!
Yeah man, it does feel bad since you felt like you could've done better. But I'm proud of everyone's efforts in my team. We still produced a working game that we are happy that it can bring enjoyment to those who play it.
We can definitely improve on it after the jam if given the opportunity.
Thanks for the feedback, kind words and giving our game a shot.
We really do appreciate it.
Wow the best Narrative Story in the Jam
Good Work!
Love the art style!

Impressive game! this reminds me of another game I made.
Thanks for your feedback!
Is the game you're talking about released on itch.io?
Would love to try it haha.
Yeah, it was for a jam, its called depression which got 90th place.
/jam/solo-dev-jam-11/rate/4565149I
it just looks similar cuz of the side theme: depression
Sounds cool, will check it out soon!
Pretty unique, the art reminded me a lot of Until Then
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for playing our game!
Amazing Game! I was fun and the story was really good. It was good to see the story slowly unfold. The art style and lighting was also awesome.
Really Amazing game. Though, the ending felt rushed.
Thanks for giving our game a shot!
Glad to see that you enjoyed the story.
But yeah. I do agree that the ending was rushed.
Hopefully we're able to expand on it after the Jam's over.
