Great game! The only things I think need improving is changing the position of the new modules so they are not all in the same place, and the Easy mode is far too easy :)

I love this game. Upgrades felt impactful, the pacing was good, and collecting gems is extremely satisfying. I spent 10 minutes in the main menu collecting gems before even starting the game.

The UI can use a bit of work. Adding modules to the same spot becomes quite tedious when it starts to fill up. Being able to select multiple modules at a time would be convenient. The window to buy new modules should be bigger in my opinion. I didn't like having to scroll to buy the module I wanted over and over again.

Increasing power almost always felt better than increasing rate. I think it could use more balancing.

This is a very impressive game, especially with the time constraint. Great job! Now back to collecting gems...

A very unique game which I have seen in this jam specifically, I like the idle nature of the game. It is pretty satisfying to add and upgrade everything to see enemies being melted and seeing all those gems pour in. However, a little bit more work on the UI for readability and explanation, it would be awesome. Maybe a button to line up all the attack cards and defense cards or something like a grid where cards get automatically placed and you can scroll through all your cards would be a very big improvement on the UI. Well-done on the submission, you nailed the progression system, would have loved to see more stuff in the gem shop as well.

Very fun game! It took me a while to understand everything but once I understood everything, it was a blast! I do wish there were a better tutorialisation at the start so its much easier to get into it but other than that, great work!

its hard to understand the game, the UI  its pretty confusing, but its pretty fun when you understand it, congrats!

Very VERY difficult to navigate the UI, but the game itself is solid and very satisfying - I loooove the sound effects and sounds of gems being collected.  If you could find a way to auto organize the UI and make sure things dont get overlapped a bunch, this would find a much bigger audience.  If thats part of the challenge, understandable, but on a laptop with a track pad, its a huge pain to navigate.  Great job!

Loved it, the game seems a bit chaotic and complex at times, but it felt pretty fun to explore and build up the strength of my tower. My game has some similarities to yours, so I was able to grasp it well, but I definitely see this being a bit overwhelming pace for someone not familiar with the game. Needless to say, the depth in the game is super good and it's not necessary complex, but maybe there could be some thinking phase or something. My only issue is that some nodes drop on to each other perfectly and since the nodes keep coming faster than you can manage them, they tend to hide behind each other. Game feel and sounds are great also, tho I found it a bit hard to focus on nodes and the tower part at the same time, which is common in such style of gameplay.

Clever idea - I liked the unique mechanic of building a graph for the modules.

I didn't notice that I could chain more together, but that would have been interesting.  It also seems like there's a limit to the number of connections between boxes - would be helpful to know how high that limit is when placing things.

Nit picking - the level up window isn't really necessary and gets irritating after a few levels.

Great work with lots of polish.  Impressive!

Played a couple more times - really enjoying it.

  1. I had a hard time understanding that some generators needed to attach to some attacks and then it took some time to figure out the wiring.
  2. It appears to be a limit of one bonus input to a generator and in my previous playthrough i was just connecting things to generators BEHIND the one on top.  I think stacking makes it much harder to understand what's going on.  Could new modules be snapped to a grid somehow?  Could the upgrades be inside of the other elements so they're all more self contained?
  3. Really feeling rewarded for reading all the tips, especially about dragging windows to the gem bag - love that!

love the idea of separating the attacks from their stat boosts and giving the player freedom to mix and match! I did have some issues with the UI the shop not giving the node it was showing and the attachments didn't always go where I told them too. But such a different style of play connecting the power and speed to the attacks I can see so many places this would go!!

I liked the sound and music.

The node system took a moment to figure out, but it is definitely an interesting game.

I had a few windows say error, but I don't know if that is part of the gameplay or a notification that something went wrong.

The error successful window is just a joke and is part of the game haha.

Well thought out node connection system, makes a tonne of sense when you get used to it - but struggled to understand how to do anything in the beginning and felt a bit overwhelmed. Overall a great job!

Very insane game design! It was a lot of fun, and you have managed to add in a lot of complexity for a game jam game! Great work!
