This was cute. It looks like the character is a tank, if by looking at the green bar. It was interesting to try out. Looks like different maps and creatures are created when you play, which adds a replayability factor.
Thank you for the game!
Nice work, you put a lot of effort for the amount time we had. Great job!
Nice work!
The visuals are great, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The game has a lot of potential, and it's clear that a lot of effort went into creating its world and presentation.
That said, I ran into a few issues while playing:
Tutorial & Onboarding
Gameplay
UI
Audio
Theme
That said, I genuinely appreciate the effort that went into the game. The visuals and atmosphere left a strong impression on me, and I can definitely see the potential here. Keep it up!
Despite not founding the dragon, it was an interesting game. A little confusing at the beginind because the tutorial stays a second on screen. Once I saw the tutorial on the screenshots, could understand better.
Aesthetics and music are awesome.
Thank you for playing. Fixed the Dragon spawn.
Nice game, good job!
Thanks for Playing
This appeared to be a really fancy 3D cookie clicker game. I couldn't really do anything except click on the bats. The music choice was very epic. Felt Diablo-esque.
Thanks for playing! I fixed the Dragon Spawn.
I like the music.
Thanks for playing!
beautiful little game. I like the characters and the npcs. look cute. I understand the idea with the dice roll. Really well made UI, very fantasy like. I didn't find the dragon. i was where I should be but it never spawned. :( Good job anyway.
The tutorial disappears after 1 second, no idea what to do, but the game looks cute! Good job with the UI assets and animations.
Thanks for playing. Increased the tutorial time. Also fixed the dragon spawn.
I honestly recommend pausing the game and letting the player decide when to close the tutorial either with a UI button or a keyboard input.
Cool game, well done!
The rolling attacks is a nice mechanic. Took a minute to get used to but it was solid once ya did.
Hello,
I like the idea of dice rolls for attacks, but it's hard to fit it in a real time game, it kinda worked though but it felt a bit slowish, the graphics were okay, the camera seems to clip closer to the player if an object (like a wall) or enemies are between camera and player, I think it would be better to assign a semi transparent material to the wall, Good job!
Had no clue what was happening with the attacks. I rolled both dice and sometimes I'd kill an enemy- which they'd drop things that I don't think I could use! :V
I was also confused on the dragon bit, as there wasn't one at the end of the compass. It just pointed at a spiral thing that sparkled after activating all the cubes.
But I did like the idea of the rolling attack- it just needed feedback on what was going on. Like a "Success!" or "Failure!" if the roll was bad- as well as damage numbers.
Looks like the spawn collider is broken for the dragon. I will try to get a patch in today.
Neat idea! Fantastic aesthetic. Good cover art, and honestly just naming your credits page "critical roles" deserves an extra star in the ratings.
I couldn't figure out how to rotate the camera, and I wasn't really clear on what was going on in combat. Sometimes bombs appeared but they didn't appear to explode? And I think the other bags were maybe money? There was a giant splash screen of info when it started but it immediately disappeared.
Pretty neat idea with the dice roll, not sure if the roll is for damage or for hit chance? All in all decently done for a jam entry.
I'm not entirely clear on how it works. I think I figured out that attacks should be effective or not based on the dice, but I always had the impression that I never missed and never got hit. Interesting music and nice graphics.
Thanks for the input. I Put clearer instructions (I hope). Basically Click the enemy and find the dragon using the compass. Collect gold.
I'm not even sure I'm moving? I think I fell of the platform immediately and just bugged around? not even sure if wasd was doing anything or not
Thanks! Updated! Fixed the Player Controller Bug.
Bug Fixes are on the way. Thanks for all the comments. I'm listening.
So, I played the game, not sure exactly what I was supposed to do. Maybe update your game play description on itch.io
Seems like a cool idea but there is very little feedback on what is actually going on. The attack animation of the character has a delay and I`m not sure if im hitting the enemies or not.
