The short, repeating music track loop manages to fit the quirky atmosphere perfectly without overstaying its welcome. 

It's a completely distinct, charmingly traumatizing climbing challenge that feels completely handcrafted from top to bottom.

This is a really good game but my only problem is that the hit boxes make the game a bit difficult otherwise it’s a good game. Pls play and rate my game too if you have time

Very nice and original mechanic, I enjoy when platformers do something "different". My problem was with hitboxes, I couldn't get past after the moving platform, the next enemy ALWAYS touches me and kills me.

The hand-drawn art style is absolutely charming and gives LADDER MAN a completely unique personality that stands out from everything else — the blurred background detail especially adds so much character and depth. Using a ladder instead of jumping as the core movement mechanic is such a clever and original idea that nobody else in this jam seems to have done! The moment you discover you can hang from platforms it completely opens up and gets even more fun. The music loop is short but somehow fits perfectly. Adding a ladder attack to deal with enemies would be a fun and natural extension of the mechanic. Really enjoyable and creative entry! Feel free to check out my sky platformer too 😊
