The mechanics are innovative.

I would loved to have seen a bit more of a interesting visual rather than just dark rooms, but it works as a jam prototype. Not sure why you chose to have the player do 2 actions and 2 different buttons instead of 1 for the transferring of properties. It would have smoothed out the controls imo.

I also wasn't too big a fan of the ominous background music haha, but I guess it's just because I don't do much horror games, but from the look of this game it was supposed to be more of a pure puzzle game.

Great mechanic, sound, and text feedback when doing wrong things, has a lot of potential!  Please keep the hallway door open, I forgot the controls but was able to scroll down below web build and figure it out!

Thankyou for playing, appreciate all the feedback. I am thinking of working on a post jam version for this based on all the feedback I have received.

Good game and nice puzzles. I think more player feedbacks like instructions, UI, object highlights would be good. At times I felt pretty lost on what to do or what I can / cannot click on or to change hands. When playtesting think about the player who has never seen the game before and if it is intuitive. With those improvements I can see more puzzles being made

Developer

We had dialogue prompts at the bottom which hinted the player on what they were doing wrong, as for instructions I think we should have kept the hallway door open because hallway has instruction screens. Thanks for the feedback, it is super valuable. If we decide to build on it more, we'll definitely be adding more puzzles as well as considering these changes to make the experience 10x better. Thanks for playing!

Good game mechanics. At first I was kinda confuse on how to change hands. you might forgot to put it in the instructions. A lot of potential for this game. Keep up the good work

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah that's entirely on me, I forgot to add it in the game description. now fixed :)

Cool concept. The controls are confusing at first. Took me a while to complete the game.

Agree with others that the controls are not super intuitive, but I was able to get through quite a bit before getting stuck! I think having two buttons for selecting target and transferring properties is what confused me the most, I would have expected one button to do both - unless in some later puzzles it is possible to select multiple targets at the same time. I liked the creativity behind this though, the different “powers” of the gloves were interesting to test out. Nice entry overall!

Cool game. Enjoyed it. However, I feel the tutorial needs a little more in the start. It was difficult for me to understand transferring weights. Overall good job.

A really cool concept with "transferring" mechanic, i think, that it is a really solid prototype with a lot of potential!

Submitted

This game has huge potential! I like the idea of transferring something from one object to another. Though I do find the interaction system a bit unintuitive since I can't tell which object I can or cannot interact with (maybe an outline would help?). The game introduces new mechanics every level which can be good but I feel like each mechanic needs to be explored more for it to truly shine (since I feel like the mechanics I learnt before are not used at all in the next level) but I do understand the game jam setting of time constraint. Other than that, you guys did a great work.

Submitted

Transferring properties between objects to solve puzzles is a brilliant idea! The indicator on the gloves is also a really neat touch. With a little bit of visual polish, this could easily turn into something great. Excellent job!

Very nice game! I got stuck on 2nd level though (the one need to hit the red button on the ceiling. For some reasons i couldn't change the color of the glove to transfer anywhere so not sure...

Glad you like it! The game actually tells you how to handle this: use the Mouse Wheel to switch modes, as shown on the screen in the hallway. When you try to take the color of an object the text box at the bottom will also remind you to change your mod. There is also indication on the modules themselves when you pick them up.

really cool concept with the glove, I see huge potential for a puzzle game like portal!

That’s a super cool idea, and the music and lighting really help create an intense atmosphere. The core mechanic is something I haven’t seen before, and I can definitely see it growing into something really special. Nice job!

One small suggestion: it would be great if players could adjust the mouse sensitivity. Mine felt a bit high, which made it harder to control at times. But overall, it’s already a very cool project! :D

Developer

Agreed, from the next jam I am adding a sensitivity settings in my every jam. Thankyou for playing btw, we appreciate the feedback!

Dudes such a cool puzzle game, very Portal-esque with the rooms. You could probably have something really cool with a bit more polish and time. Nice work!

Developer

If this gets enough attention we'll definitely work on it more, add more puzzles, add more levels, combine different mods to pass levels and a really nice story to go with all of it. Thankyou for playing!

I really liked this! The atmosphere feels similar to Poppy Playtime, but the puzzle design is closer to Portal. If you haven’t played it, I’d also recommend Quantum Conundrum. It has physics-based puzzles that could be a good source of inspiration for this project.

Developer(+1)

Yeah I agree, we had portal in mind while coming up with the idea of the game, so we ended up using the portal controls. We wanted to add more puzzles and had so much puzzle ideas but were out of time. Glad you liked it!

Nicely done, great use of theme! Enjoyed the puzzles a lot.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Very well put together, managed to get through all the puzzles which is good as sometimes it's easy to forget not everyone has played the game as much as you. Good job!

Developer(+1)

thanks for playing, we're glad you enjoyed it. we took extra care to make the puzzles as intuitive as possible.

Very much the best parts of Portal, down to the rules on the wall.  Looking forward to more puzzles!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, Portal was definitely an inspiration going with this, hands down my favorite puzzle game. We wanted to add more puzzles, but we were tight on time

Cool mechanics and a huge variety of them too, must have been a lot to code and to test out. Good job!
