Great job!
Amazing work, a really well polished game all round! It reminded me a lot of the Golden Idol games. I really enjoyed this one, definitely a favourite from this jam!
Thank you for playing and enjoying our game we really appreciate it!
Loved this one, I spent a while trying to figure this one out
Thank you for playing! I hope you figured it out in the end :)
As someone who does logic puzzle books for fun, nice job.
One possible suggestion, once a tag is used, show it as used in the left menu.
But yeh, I would play more of these.
Thank you for playing! That is a pretty good suggestion, I'll for sure pass it onto the team
This is great! It was fun playing detective, nice work!
Thank you! I'm glad you had fun!
Shout out to the whole team, you just made an amazing game! It's fun through and through. Everything in the game feels polished and well put together, from the gameplay to the presentation.
I really enjoyed learning about each character and trying to figure out how they relate to one another. It was a very balanced and fun experience, and discovering those connections kept me engaged throughout the game.
What really stands out is how well everything works together. It's clear that each member of the team brought something valuable to the project, and the final result reflects that. The level of polish, consistency, and attention to detail really highlights how strong of a team you are.
Amazing work, and keep it up!
Thank you so much for such a kind comment! And congrats on solving the puzzles! I love working with this team and I'm glad it showed within the final project. Everyone has done super well
Puzzle design was excellent, and the challenge set perfectly (especially for a Jam game, where you want a bit of challenge but ideally want people to complete it to).
Art suited as well, and once I got the hang of the controls/layout (took me a little bit to work out) it became quite intuitive.
Could see this working well on Mobile, where your screen is one room at a time, and you flick around between.
Hope it's a project that continues.
Thank you for playing our game! That's a really fun idea about mobile gameplay, I'll have to bring it to the team for sure.
A very nicely done puzzle. Every clue makes sense. At first I was “puzzled” by the umbrella, then I got it. That was pretty clever. Definitely needed my thinking cap for this one. Great submission!
We appreciate your comment and it's great to hear you had a good time playing it! That clue is pretty tricky hehe
I had a lot of fun playing! I'm a huge fan of puzzle games, and I know it's quite difficult to design a good puzzle game. My only wish is that it had been a bit more challenging. It looks great and feels really polished. Great work!
Thank you so much for playing and rating it! It took a while for us at the beginning to try and find a good match for what was challenging but also fun enough for people who don't do puzzle games to enjoy so it's a bit of a delicate balance. If we build on it in the future I'm sure we'll add some more challenging aspects
Well done guys. Very polished.
You have solved our puzzle! Congratulations and thank you for playing!
Nice puzzle game, great job by the team.
Thank you! ^0^

10/10 comment thank you so much
That was such a good time, I really thought this kind of game would never click with me. Oh boy am I glad I was prove wrong, the whole detective aspect is just too darn engaging! making deductions from written clues and dialogues felt very satisfying. I'm not really good at this type of game but I played it to its completion (on normal mode), it's just a testament to how good it is. Polished UI, soothing chillhop music, it all just clicks. The team did amazing work, HUGE KUDOS!
Congrats on solving it! We're glad despite being new to these sorts of games you were able to power through and figure it out! I'm so glad you liked the game it's something we're really proud of
Really great submission! I'm a big fan of Return of the Obra Dinn and Curse of the Golden Idol so this was right down my alley. Great execution, art and puzzles. Nicely done.
Thank you so much for playing! We ended up having to test a few games as some of the team was new to these sorts of puzzle games (myself included) but it really grew on me. We appreciate your kind words!
that felt incredibly polished. only real thing separating this from a full fledged game is levels. I like the feature of the credits linking to itch accounts.
Thank you for playing! I would really love to go back and add some levels eventually it was a fun game to make!
A very nice puzzle game, well done! Charming artstyle and nice interaction feedback, feels very polished.
I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
What a wonderful game you made! With its nice music and SFX, it makes for a nice and chilling puzzle game (I just turned off the ambience sound, it was driving me crazy).
I also liked the tutorial screen, but it was a bit hard to tell the difference between the tutorial parts and the clickable controls. I also thought the hard mode would be a somewhat different puzzle, it could be interesting to indicate the difference between the two modes on the selection screen.
I'm also fond of the popping animation and the recursive search. The puzzle itself was great, not too easy nor impossibly hard. And I really reaaaaally love the art and the story (stories?), it really gives soul to the game. Congrats!
Thank you very much for the nice words.
The reception to the rain sounds has been mixed, haha, but that's exactly why I included the option to turn it off 😂
The tutorial part could have been better for sure. I also included a short description of the 2 different play modes, but it has to be hovered over to displayed as tooltips or reviewed in the tutorial screen again when you pause the game. I definitely could have made those info a bit more intuitive.
Thank you again for playing and the feedback!
Yes! I suppose it depends on people. I don't mind background music, even if it is repetitive, but I have a harder time with sounds like this. But adding the option to control each volume and putting this option immediately in the main menu was a great idea!
Oh, my bad for the play modes, I was too fast ><'
OH MY GOD! I just noticed I got ripped off! Where did the good doggo calendar go?😭
We had to temporarily remove it to fix an issue with the puzzle logic. It will be back once the artist has drawn a proper replacement for the art!
Oh yeah, now that I gave it a second look, I can see how it could be confusing for some people, and I definitely would have been part of them, so thank you x)
😭😭😭 We wanted to make a temporary fix with the calendar clues since it was confusing to a lot of players, but we're waiting for our artist to find time to make new graphics. But I just added it back, please don't hate me 😭😭😭
Oh, nice update! The interactive elements of the tutorial screen are way more visible now. And we got the good boy back ❤️❤️❤️
Clever way to keep the art and avoid any confusion!
I love this type of game sadly game music lag when we zoom objects
Hey thanks for playing the game!
It's the first time I heard this issue from our players. If possible can you record a video showing the bug? Since I have never encounter it during testing. Currently the music has 2 tracks and has a random timer to switch between them so sometimes the transitions could coincide when you're doing some actions in the game, but I will be interested to know if it happens outside of that like you described.
I Played in brave there it's lag due to some frame rate issue all game face it in brave.
Nice game, great idea and very fun
Thank you for enjoying it!
Pretty chill game! I really enjoyed figuring out what attributes belonged to everyone. Really good puzzle making. Nice work!
Thanks for playing!
