I love this visual, it really unique, one of the best on this jam in my opinion. Gameplay is also good, nice idea to play as a sniper, simple but it works! Nice shot)

Developer

ahahah nice shot :) Thanks for the feedback, did my best with the tools i had.

I liked the concept; it felt like a mind policeman in a 1984 universe. The descriptions of death were fun to read. Though this game needs soundeffects and gameplay was rather boring. The idea alone makes this game have a great potential!

Submitted(+1)

also reminded me of We Become What We Behold

Developer

that's a masterpiece!

That was fun. Enjoyed of different levels, i think it has potential if you improve targets and level design, and maybe by adding some market abilities with additional target detectors. Nicely done job!
I'll be glad if you checkout my game.

I ABSOLUTLY LOVE THIS GAME.

Developer

Thanks, and yours is mindbending!

A pretty short and simple game, but it was very fun, polished, and well made. Loved the visual style. Great game!

Developer

Thanks, I had to overcome my own limitations with graphic, too!

Suuper cool art! I love the old TV screen overlay, and the neon glow. It was tricky to find the anomaly that was slightly brighter.... took me 3 tries. It's a great concept tho! I think in some way you could find yourself being a better person removing of what might have a chance of possibly harming the others, but I see the idea. Really nice job, great concept!

PS amazing how you made this with js.

Developer

Since the limitation is quite strong i decided to go with the darkest option.

Thanks for the feedback, for me is much more amazing what people can do with such messy and intricate engines... in the end, my games are just several simple layers that adds up.

This is my first time participating in a game jam and making a game, and I'm wondering why I only have one review when every other game at this jam has a ton.

Developer

usually the downloadable games have way less ratings, because usually they are big, chunky, perhaps less secure. Yours is not too big so I may be able to try it.

Submitted

Thanks for the reply. This is my first game, and I hadn't even considered a web game. Next time, I'll make a web version.

Developer

It's strongly suggested, sometimes even mandatory. Think about it: one choice is "press play and... play", the other is 1) download 2)wait for the download to finish, sometimes even 200/300/500 MB", 3) install/run 4) Cross fingers that security is ok... it's just easier and easier is a good path for jams.

By the way, cool name, from the band?  I downloaded it, should be able to give a feedback soon.

Cool game. The concept reminds me of "We become what we behold".

That's a masterpiece!

Very good looking and especially so since it's made in raw html + js. Levels could be reordered to fit the difficulty imo, like for example level 2 was very hard but some following levels were much easier. Other than that i sometimes ended up looking for nothing cause the anomaly had gotten offscreen or maybe i saw it go offscreen and there was nothing i could do anymore ^^'

Developer

The offscreen is party because i had to shrink the screen in 800x600 for zoom issues, but forgot to resize the canvas (ops!) but then I choose to keep it because it add a little bit of difficulty to the game, especially in the level with 2 enemies.

The green character... I suppose it's a bug related to the crt fiter, it's supposed to be much lighter green than the others, but somehow it's not. Will check after the voting period. Thanks for the complete feedback.

I love how it looks, and it was quite fun. I didn't realise the enemies could go off-screen until I saw one very obviously do that and I had to wait. Overall I enjoyed it!

Developer

Well, it started as a bug but decided to keep it since it add some difficulty. In theory the space outside is quite small so he should come back within the 30 seconds of the level.

Submitted(+1)

Not sure if this was a glitch, but the 2nd level was super difficult. All the characters were green and the anomaly had a mouth but it was very difficult to see. Took me a few minutes to find it.

Nice job, I like the visual identity of the game, as well as the funny dialogue!

Desing is good. Concpet is also good. I like the screen effects and main menu. Well done!

The last level was pretty difficult, but the game was fun and well made overall. I liked the idea and it felt polished for a jam game

If you have time, I’d really appreciate a rating on my game too, feedback is also welcome

I like the short game, the last level made me tense where the deviant became fast

Developer

Thanks, I did what i could to make each level a little bit different

The game is great; I really liked the style and concept. Maybe in the future, when I'm not feeling lazy, I'll make something similar! I enjoyed it! It's just a shame it lacks sound.

Developer(+1)

I spent most of the weekend on it, and 2 hours before submission humans didn't move so... I'm satisfied with the result.

The art style is nice! The difficulty balance is good too!

Overall, it's a very cool game. Nice graphics. :)
