This is the same idea I originally had, until I changed to a spinning platformer!

Developer

I feel like it definitely worked in your favor. I wouldn't say that the idea for my game was bad, but I wished I would've added a bit more polish to it.

Woah... so... serious. I really like the idea of this game! Great job making this!

Developer

Thanks for checking it out!

Definitely a serious game. I mean, did you see the main characters face? So stoic. So serious.

Developer

I updated the game and made it to where now the upgrades can only be purchased once.

This is a pretty serious game, I feel very serious right now after beating it. A little overwhelming but I like the general idea of this kind of game, if it had some extra systems and polish it could be really awesome.

Yeah I really wanted to add some more stuff, but I couldn't think of anything clever so I just stuck with what I had so far. Thanks for checking out the game though, glad you enjoyed it!

Enjoyed my time with it, was very serious. Just so you know you can go into debt buying all the upgrades which then completes the game almost instantly.

Developer

Yeah that was a issue I realized later and was just hoping that nobody would notice, but I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I enjoyed how simple the controls were and how easy it was to pick up and understand however the game had no juice and it was too idle. With that I rate the enjoyment a 2/5.

I enjoyed how much the game was focused on the theme however there was no creativity so I rated the Creativity & Theme a 3/5.

The visuals were very poor the buttons were very basic looking which I didn't like, the bottom buttons had no feedback or response to being hovered over it wasn't clear what the "In all seriousness" upgrade was doing I knew it was doing something but as to what I have no clue. The player was cool because it was hand drawn. So the visuals get a 1/5 rating.

There was almost no audio but the background music was decent. All things considered the game gets a 2/5 from me.

Apart from the music the game had no seriousness. 1/5 from me.

One side thing that can't go into the ratings is I appreciated how you understood that scratch text is weird and added information in the description.

With that I rate your game an 8/25.

Thank you for the in depth feedback. It's very helpful in learning to be better at making games, in your opinion what do you think I could have done to make the game more fun/ more enjoyable to play?
