I like the visual design of the cards
Unfortunately I think the game is a bit hard to understand at first. I sometimes forgot to "draw a card" after my turn and got stuck with just two cards left at the end, which I often couldn't play because I got the wrong colors with the wheel.
Can you only play one card a turn? Seems very random and not much choice in that case. I think it'd be more fun and "gambly" if you could play all the cards of one color during your turn where you roll a color.
this is a really neat concept for a game!! i agree w the commenter below that some added ui (i really loved the pixel style of the cards and wondered if it could be extended throughout the whole game) and audio would make it more visually engaging. also, maybe having the wheel strike out the cards you can play instead of forcing you to choose a card might add a little more player agency into the gameplay.
thank you! I was the artist for this team and made the cards!
u ate!!
Nice concept. Spin the wheel + deckbuilding is a good combo. Deckbuilders are really fun but it needs to show a lot of info to the players of what's happening and how. And also synergy between cards and plays matter. Balatro and Slay The Spire are really good examples for that. The core mechanics is good but adding some ui and game feel would do wonders. Keep it up!
The cards designs are amazing. If you later on add the animations and sounds for things like player and also show enemy cards this can be a banger.. I'm surprised that i finished this game. Felt like buckshot roulette
thank you! I made the art.
Theres a concept, but lots of player aid that is needed is still missing. I do think the "spin the wheel" button is active sometimes even though it should not.. i kinda stumbled around until i finally won the first match xD
The cards look nice, happily will play this game again if you have the time to add the missing necessitys :)
I’m not sure if I was playing the game right, but from the looks of it, I had little to no control in how the game went… This is something I REALLY dislike in games.
My fate was completely up to the wheel. A few wrong spins can easily end the game in your defeat.
Unfortunately, it’s a bit rough and I missed a tutorial, so it took me a while to figure out what to do. Maybe you could add some text in the game description; this would already help some people :)
This mechanic was pretty cool!
It was a bit frustrating when my block was green or some color where I couldn't play any cards from my hand, but I managed to beat the first 2 opponents, and lost to the hard one, barely.
I recommend adding some more audio/visual cues, but the core seems to be very playable!
it was kind of nice i didnt understand it quite well maybe u shouldve added some guide in a pause menu or idk maybe at least in discription but kinda nice
ok you post a bad rating on my game and uhh your game is cool ...
just i like ur game :< its cool
Our game's not what it should've been. It's a product of its circumstances. I try to be honest with myself and others, navoo.
That’s fair enough. Your game has potential.
A text tutorial at least would have been great, I honestly still cant figure out how I was supposed to play. I think I got it, but im not even sure if I did it right. The lack of sound design also hurts this entry for me. I think its a neat concept, just needed a bit more time in the visual-effect oven.
yep
i like this card game and your spinning implementation, good job
thanks, khernEL.
too raw
true
it was a little unclear at first, but I think I found out how to play after a bit, it was really hard to tell what i could and could not do, and it would be nice if there was more visual feedback, but i did have some fun with the game play, things i would do to fix it:
1: add more feedback when interacting with things, music and sfx would help with feedback
2: the spinning was unclear and didn't feel like i was spinning a wheel so maybe if you had a visible wheel
will do
