Yoo I saw you post progress of this in the discord, it's so cool to finally play it! I did so much networking! This game has inspired me to go out and divorce my wife!
Divorcing my actual wife rn
This game is so addicting could play this nonstop
This is an immaculate game with very little I saw that needs improvement. The gameplay felt great and never lagged behind in scaling. The art and VFX were wonderful and really added to the overall vibe of the game (the art style you chose is honestly perfect for games criticising corporate culture, it helps to make the characters in a story feel distant and detached from reality). I love how there's glaringly unsubtle digs at the problems with corporations, such as how they can really put a strain on your relationships by encouraging overworking and greed.
My one and only complaint is that I can't sacrifice my interns to the CEO at the end, y'know, because every executive views interns as disposable...
Near perfect 5/5 game <3
note: should've made an alternative ending for those of us that didn't even end up divorcing
Left my date alone, divorced my wife, defeated the CEO by spinning 10/10 would do it all again
Amazing concept and love the name :)
I was crying the entire game, such a tragic story, but If this woman ever thought I would choose her over spin - she is a fool!
Game is awesome! No idea what apples even do but it did not stop me from having tons of fun! You guys did a great job!
I like the evangelion Shinji reference. The game a pretty fun idle clicker type experiences with fun man in suits.
Holy, such a cool and funny game! I loved every bit of it! The art is funny, idea is cool, gameplay is aweosme and addicting, and theres always at least 15 different variables on my screen lmao!!
I really liked the UI. Are you using any frameworks?
This game is absolutely ridiculous in a good way. The networking, intern deployment system, creative upgrade names, and final boss all had me dead from start to finish. I burned out by accident a lot, but I still managed to beat the final boss without having to divorce my wife (brand new sentence).
Thanks for making this!
This game is VERY visually stimulating! There are a lot of things going on at the same time, especially later into the game and I love it! However, I feel that later in the game, most noticeable for me around day 30ish, the frame rate started dropping rapidly. It was very apparent in the upgrade tree where the camera would be stuttering constantly. Moreover it was kinda annoying how it always started me completely zoomed out in the tree. I think it would've been better to have to remember my camera position from last time. I was also having a hard time with the burnout mechanic. I understand that spinning is supposed to increase burnout, but sometimes it would continue increasing even when I wasn't spinning and hadn't been for a while. It would even sometimes end the day from burnout despite on screen having several bars left. I also think that it would be nicer to make the screen more red at higher levels than it currently is, because with all the on screen effects and everything happening it makes it really easy to miss. Other than that I think it would've been cool if there were 'office events' or something that happened throughout the days. It could've help make there be more things for the player to worry about, like having to reach certain milestones before a given day. Days in general feel like a wasted system that could've been so much more than just a counter. For the promotion system, I think it makes more sense for it to be all time earned money rather than the money you currently have but thats really not all that important of a difference. The boss fight at the end was a really nice touch that I wasn't expecting and did utilize the mechanics in a strangely fitting way!
The visuals and audio in this game were perfect! I loved the pixel art, and the two short little cutscenes, they added a lot to the seriousness and looked immaculate! The title screen too is just such a great way to start the game and its a really well done title screen, especially for a game jam!
I know I have been pretty critical but still it is absolutely AMAZING what you were able to put together in just one week!
BRILLIANT game !
OHHH wowwww this is so polished and fun to play!! I love how full of personality it is, and it's easy to get the hang of! Really amazing work!!! ^_^
It's a creative idea for an incremental game, and very well polished and filled with content. I can see it working as a full game. The art is well done, gives me Hotline Miami vibes.
I think I would prefer if it was a mouse only game though, where a single click makes the character move in the direction of the cursor and multiple clicks spins her around. That's just my personal opinion, not an objective flaw of the game.
Even if I lose my relationship, I must spin. Yes, it’s that serious.
Jokes aside, I wasn’t expecting the gameplay to be that long, with a full upgrade system, a boss fight, and polish from start to finish on top of that. Overall, it’s really good.
wow, this just got serious
this is the greatest thing that i've ever had the pleasure of playing my jaw dropped at the surprise boss fight
I’m so happy to hear you got through that far :)
i have no wife and i must spin
will continue to play until the juniper boss fight
this s### got me locked in
i really love the ui as well its unnecessarily informative in a great way that sets the scene
Amazing. I never thought that I'd enjoy networking this much. Genuinely fun and
ridiculousextremely serious game.
