loved the animation and art the items were pretty cool as well enemy variety was abundant too

Very impressive game! Visuals are so good. Moving menu, in game art all the animatoins and pixel art enemies are veery beautiful and satosfying to look at. Gameplay is good too, had fun killing different enemies with my yoyo skill XD. This game is a kinda Hades like rogulike. Week time long deadline probably hurt the game because it needs some polishing. A bit more sound effects and the most important some indicator that the player got hit! I had to look at my hearts to be able to know how am I doing. Maybe some more visible enemies' attacks? Very good looking and promising game with immersive music. Great job and I hope you will develop the game more!

Art direction is lovely for the game. I love the intro and the opening screen. The design for the mc is also fire. Got to the final boss 2 times but the player character bugged out both times and got stuck on the edge of the arena... I'll definitely go back and beat that fucker.

A couple of things I saw I think I could give feedback on. Super small improvements that should be SUPER easy to fix.

The intro can be skipped by mistake by trying to make the dialogue advance. Had to reload the game to see it properly (super cool intro btw love me some sick nephilim in my games)

The menu has the cursor for the combat to aim your yoyo and is a bit confusing since you navigate menus with your keyboard.

Now for something I didn't understand or maybe its broken. The super dash thingie only worked if I released when the tornado was just about to form. By the tutorial screen I understood that it should happen when the tornado finishes? Maybe I got confused. The tornado having a different control scheme than walking is fun and unique but it got me some time to understand. Maybe adding some visual queue like an arrow could work? You'll know better than me.

This feels a bit undercooked but don't get me wrong you were cooking with this one. KEEP COOKING! The game will come out great! (also first game I donwload since the pics looked so suck, I don't regret it)

I loved this game!! Its really nice to play, but i wish the yoyo dealt more damage, it fells like i'm beating the enemies with jelly beans lol, but the music is nice, the art style is really good and the overall gameplay is really nice!!!!

Very cool. Couple things I noticed. The edges of the arena seem to allow me to get stuck in them and require some wiggling to get back out. Not sure if I dashed to get stuck or if enemy hit me. Also when you die, I'm assuming space is a default to select menu options because while I was spamming space to dash I died and immediately closed the game when something popped up because I was spamming space. Love the look and the attacks. Traps were a cool addition as well. Great job!

Stunning visuals. I became absolutely enamored by its aesthetic and setting near immediately. The gameplay was quick to understand and it was quite fun to try and get better each time.

I'd say the audio is a bit loud and unfortunately collisions seemed to keep bugging out, to the point that in the higher levels I wouldn't really be able to interact with enemies much since they were busy phasing in an out of the walls. I also encountered a bug where after dying not only did I lose an item, but I would find myself unable to pick up all the items I would select. After that run, I hit the "Settings" button during the run and I found it consistently brings you to what I have to assume is the final boss, which unfortunately I wasn't able to beat considering that the camera seemed a bit mispositioned, the boss kept exiting the screen and the harps eventually would just turn red back and forth while only creating hitboxes on the air.

Even with all that, I would say my experience was majorly positive. I found this game deeply inspiring personally, and makes me want to work on something similar in the future, I hope you can iron out the kinks and truly bring this game to the level of polish it deserves:)

Very nice game! I like the menu having parallax, super nice! The tornado move was kinda janky though sometimes, but for the normal combat seemed to be generally fine. though the escape menu not pausing is kinda weird i guess. As for audio it seems that in the intro cutscene the music stops after like 10 seconds after youre supposed to close the intro, anyways im super glad that your settings menu is so complete, very useful when games have a settings menu with every little tweak, though there was an issue where if you opened the settings menu through the escape menu multiple times while in the settings menu the bgm would stack and become a mess. though i did rteally like the art in the settings menu, very good!  im just mostly glad that you had a proper settings menu.... . .  .

Super awesome game! yoyos when I least expected it, The art is really good and enemy variants just kept coming, very impressive for a jam game.  The upgrades work really well together (didn't get to try all of them but I did have a build where yoyos were multiplying and shooting everywhere constantly haha), I wonder why my health is apples but I'm sure there's a good reason, maybe it will help me slime out my dad faster. I did seem to get overpowered relatively quick and I didn't understand the point of the spinny tornado mechanic. Either way really good game!

The art for this game is absolutely stunning, and the title screen is genuinely gorgeoussss with the parallaxing effect. I had a lot of trouble with the spin dash attack where I'd get stuck and be unable to move and had trouble understanding how it worked. The upgrades were fun and I was shocked by how many there were, and the yoyo felt really fun to swing around. I think with some polish / bug fixing / lore expansion I would buy and play this game a LOT!

I like the combat system, especially the spin dash mechanic. The art is great and the story is the cherry on top. My only criticism is I wish I had more time to pick which item I want to take before I go to the next floor. Still, I liked playing it.

Im Harry Sausage 7 and i aprove of this game ... dont go to settings lol

Great Visuals and artstyle, wish the powerups had some details

Definitely really solid game visuals are great gameplay is interesting and I found myself wanting to see more of the upgrades and enemies that the game had to offer. Somethings I wish the game had would be health bars for enemies, maybe cooldowns for specific abilities/upgrades and descriptions of exactly what an item or upgrade does. I think most upgrades you could tell what they do by name but having the specifics would be nice. I also think some enemies seemed to have really high health. Other than that I thought the game was very fun and could easily be very addictive

Game is visually impresive but gameplay requires some more polish:

- Very hades-coded and in a good way, the way some upgrades interact with each other, and how upgrades can stack on top and make players really powerful has a charm to it. Very fun!

Major concern would be:

- Game still lacks key fundamental info and feedback such as what each upgrade does, hit sound effects for taking damage etc.

Otherwise, art is great, the starting cutscene is particularly great for immersion!

Gem without a doubt. Top visual contender for sure. Photobashed final boss is amazing. Loved the soundtrack, upgrade variety, player moveset. I think items don't persist after death as intended though? and are the settings intended as it is now?  Would really like some visual effects on player hit, maybe some camera shake. Dashing enemies (they spawn from level 5 i think?)  seem a bit unfair, could be on me. Goodluck, hope to see you >top100 in overall
